But housing is more expensive depending where you live in London or the suburbs. A two bed apartment on the outskirts of London in an OK area (Barnet) is about 1700 pcm, an equivalent area in Greater Manchester is around 1200 pcm.

Based on this someone on median salary should have more disposable income in Greater London, than Greater Manchester.

I’m absolutely a bit thick when it comes to the finances of football, but wondering why they can do 20 quid for every game in the bundesliga, but the prem is getting more and more extortionate by the year.

The club is going to lose out on a generation of young local fans if they aren’t careful and I’m absolutely over the moon that people are starting to stand up to it.

Just halve the players’s wages and £20 tickets become a lot more achievable!

Club management by balance sheet.

Soriano and his cronies know they’re better off selling fewer tickets at higher prices than selling out at lower prices.

Hmmm now you mention it, you're right there weren't many about.

Must have been quite a few empties in SS3. Went for a piss when the quiz started (there's a place for green stuff but HT at a football match?) and the concourse & bogs were quieter than I've seen all season for a Prem game.

I can't speak for the rest of the ground but I was surrounded by new people last night, new people that went as mad as I did when we scored.

And not a half and half in sight.

As I walked in under the Nexen bridge I noticed that the traders were selling normal City scarfs but then at the end, the last trader in the best spot was selling what he called match-day scarfs which were the usual half-and-half scarfs. And he was getting buyers from families too. City are not on the ball with the merchandising. I am not sure if they can control who sells what but if they can't control them they should put their own mobile sales teams in the best places and sell City scarfs only.

Have you ever tried selling something for £20 whilst stood next to someone selling the exact same thing for a tenner?

But it isn't branded Greggs is it? Imagine standing outside Greggs selling food that Greggs sell actually in Greggs bags?

Add to that the numerous police officers and City officials/employees walking past them and you have a conspiracy to look the other way at the very least.

Last two home games (Palace and Villa), there have been very few tourists near me n’all.

There were a family of Uzbeks near me last night but visibly far fewer than earlier this season and the last few seasons.
