Mcatee gets into some very good positions far more often than most of the other midfielders, unfortunately his finishing is a bit gash at present, maybe he gets a case of the yips when he's 1 on 1, who knows. I agree though he needs to make more of an impact, hopefully as he gains more experience that will come, because there is definitely a player in there. Please explain why Pep starts McAtee (a distinctly average footballer) over a match winner like Doku, that's two home starts for the lad in recent weeks and he has missed 3 sitters, the guy has no presence on the pitch. Made no impact in the PL last season at Sheffield Utd.
and he's an arsenal fanboyThey're a bitter bunch of cunts Villa fans. Dine off that European Cup win and think they're the biggest club in the world even though most of their success was in black and white. You'd think they sold Villa Park out through thick and thin the way they talk. Truth is they've had a lot of success but had plenty of dark days too and a lot of fans didn't turn up, like with most clubs. If they accepted things as they were rather than being so bitter about our success they'd be more tolerable.
When your greatest ever PL player is Gabby Agbonlahor you need to wind your necks in.

Everybody showed a terrific appetite to get the ball back, last night - swarming all over them. It’s almost like City’s control and off the ball closing makes these teams unable to threaten us?
To be fair to them excrement and expert might have some similarities to dyslexic chimpanzees.I think I can see the problem.
I know two brothers from Brum.My mates a Walsall fan and Villa are hated in the Midlands.
He also says Brum City kick the shit out of them when they meet and thinks that why they are all gob shites.

Has Bobb picked up another injury?
Delighted for Nunes, works his socks off and never hides.
Very soft penalty which was never a "clear and obvious" mistake, God knows why that VAR clown felt it worthy of review....should be investigated that.

Should be able to get enough points now to cement our top 5 place.
GK coach - please teach our two GK's when to charge out and when to stay in the box, every bloody week one of them makes the wrong decision.
As frustrating as it was ,he wasn’t really wasting time though was he?How is it that the opposition goalkeeper is allowed to time waste from the word get-go and the moment ours does it (not often), he gets booked? Gets right on my tits that does!
Anyway, great win that. Disappointed with Villa’s approach but heyho, testament to how a lot of teams still regard us. However shite the season has been!!
I was in Asda chatting with some Blues, when the team news came through.Possibly with City away on paper still being a tough tie they tried to contain the game in the hope of getting us on the break. I have no issues with doing that, we have looked like we have played for draws countless times this season. The ref should have booked early for any time wasting then i tis up to them if they want to keep running that risk.
I was unsure at the lineup pre match, annoyed Bernardo was starting but him actually playing central made it better instead of being invisible on the wings. Results are the priority now 100% but i just enjoyed the performance last night, a bit of urgency, trying to build attacks quicker and just looking a touch sharper. I thought we was garbage against Everton but walked away with a nice win, I'd have been happier last night even if we drew just due to the performance. Winning is a huge bonus and I think seals the deal for CL football. We need to maintain that level now.
Definitely one for the FOCs!Ooh, he is awful... but I like him
Our press didn’t stop Villa taking their goal kicks quicker.I saw it another way,I thought we completely contained them and they couldn’t get going all night. Our press was magnificent and stunted their buildup
Another Pep masterclass for me
Agree on Martinez , he’s a cock and he just can’t help himself
Not sure how anyone can describe Doku's goal creating effort which prob gets us into the CL as "ok". Absolutely electric burst, leaves the defender in his dust and a very difficult outside of the boot cross. There is a reason our Exp Goals was only 1.09 yesterday despite scoring twice and McAtee's fuck up where it was arguably easier to scoreMcAtee has been great in recent weeks, Scored againt Palace. Doku's been ok for 20 mins out of two games
Yes, and for what he is paid you would like to think so. The lineup scared me but we approached it differently and wasn't slow and laboured. Bernardo playing like that and there's no issues. Him getting game time despite poor performances was the worry. Fingers crossed it is the start of an end of season runI was in Asda chatting with some Blues, when the team news came through.
We were saying that it was madness leaving Nico G on the bench, but Pep obviously still knows more than the average City supporter.
