Seems to be certain noise coming out about him being moved in which I hope isn’t true . No smoke without fire so have a bad feeling about it

I also see that at our club every other club plays there players right away
 
He's not good enough to be playing right now. Surely that's the reason he's on the bench. People get very excited about everyone on here. We're all just kids still in our heads.
 
both him and Reis will need to be patient a lot.

once Ake and Akanji back being match fit which is quite close Reis and Kush will not even make the bench. knowing Pep he wont leave his older players sit in the stands for two new young transfers.

then in the summer we need to move on at least one of Ake, Akanji, Stones, probably Stones as with him its really not much we get back he cannot start 4 games a row without being off for 6 weeks.

Inadvertently caused by a yellow card that resulted in Pep replacing him at half time.
Nico on at LB and Gvardiol to centre back. They have both played very well since and we now have a back four that seem settled.

Dias is our most reliable centre back, we need Khusanov and Reis as cover for Akanji and Dias, and Ake to rotate with Gvardiol on the left side, personally right back is the big one for me, Nunes has done well recently but he was signed as a midfielder. Stones is more of a defensive midfielder nowadays, but when Rodri gets back it is hard to see any need to strengthen the defence. One of those mentioned might go, maybe even Rico, but I know Pep loves him. For me the biggest thing is to get Rodri fit and try to keep Ederson and Ortega, certainly don’t want to lose both.
 
Dias is a great leader and defender but he is a problem for us imo because he can not see a run or make a pass early. So it is impossible to build a quick attack when he is involved.

Akanji is as bad or worse in thus regard.

I hope that Khusonov is tried more with this in mind, i.e. look for runs and feed them. I'd like our preferred CB partnership to be Gvardiol and Khusonov with Ake, Dias and Reiss as backups.
 
if the rumours (and let’s hope that’s what they are) are true I really don’t get Pep’s aversion to youth.

Apart from the first minutes of his debut Khusanov has done very little wrong and this includes a right back appearance against supposedly one of the best players in the world.

Peps treatment of the January signings has been bizarre to say the least…..he now has no choice but to pick Marmoush due to Haalands injury.
