He’s just won the Master though and has been winning load of titles last few years.

Trump looked good and he's favourite

O'Sullivan had a good second day but you never know what version will turn up. Even when he played well the other day, his long potting was still miles off. You won't get away with that deep into the tournament.

I'm always impressed with Zhao Xintong. Wouldn't surprise me if he was the first Chinese player to lift the trophy. I put him and Trump as my two favourites.

The draw has opened up nicely for Ronnie if he can keep his head, 5 ex World Champs in bottom half just him in the top half. Zhao & Si very dangerous though.
I'd like to see another Ronnie-Trump final but think Trump will be too strong for him.

The lucky prize winner was named as Brian Nicholls from Tamworth, a lifelong snooker fan who had never been to the Crucible before and was bought a ticket by his son as a present for his 75th birthday.

Are they superglued on these days? Remember having to soak a wafer in boiling water and not being able to use the cue for a day or two.

Ridiculous from Brecel. Just read this on BBC Sport's report on the day's play:

Belgian Brecel went home after his first-round match on Thursday and booked a private jet to return to Sheffield on Saturday, arriving at the venue at 18:35 BST, only 25 minutes before the evening's play was due to start.
