He's got so much talent but the end product just isn't there. He's mixed his game up a bit now so he's not just cutting onto his left foot and looking to shoot. But we're not getting enough from him yet. A couple of times yesterday he got into brilliant positions and didn't make enough of them but all natural for his age. Worked a lot harder off the ball which was good to see. Given his age and the physicality of our league he's going to need more time to toughen up and get used to it.

He will need to adapt to this role where he is expectes to be more than just a wide 1v1 dribbler.

Equal parts frustrating and exciting, yesterday was mostly frustrating for me even though he had some good actions.

I think if he can adapt, he goes up another level, luckily we have depth there to give him time.

His best period was when he was played off the left, slightly Sane-like.

He's clearly a talented boy, but think he might be a slow burner. If he goes on loan next season (to cover the loan he probably should've had this) he might find his feet and hit the ground running when he comes back

Don’t think he needs a loan move personally. He’s very talented - end product isn’t quite there yet and is behind Doku’s for me. But give him time only his first season - which started off really well and he had a really good spell playing off the left. I do think in this current set-up McAtee looks the better option over him.

We can't persist with Doku or Savio next season, we need world-class goal-scoring in the summer window.
Our priorities in summer should be - 1 . Midfielder, 2. A winger. 3 .RB if we have funds

The lad has clearly got bag loads of ability, it’s just harnessing that, working on the areas, he struggles, and we could have a great player on our hands.

Still only 21, playing in English football for the first time and living in a completely different culture to the one he was brought up in. Sometimes when we buy players we don’t cut them the same slack we do academy players of a similar age.

I think we can give them another year. We’ll have other decent options for the right and Marmoush will probably play off the left a fair bit with Haaland back. Other areas need improving more urgently

Fullbacks are by far the most important. Winger the last. I also wonder which winger is available that gives us goals? We didn’t go for Kvara . If Foden finds form next season we would have 3 potentially players who can score 20+ with him + Marmoush and Blondie. There are no better options than those 2 on the market. The club has to HOPE they get better.

Can't remember the last time he had a good game. Hell, I can't remember the last time he had an ok game.
It's been a while since his best performances, true, and they were generally playing on the left wing. He'll be competing with Oscar soon, I hope

I think we need full backs more (we have zero), but the winger situation should be a concern also. There are better out there currently than Doku/Savinho tho, who could be available Eze for one, Rodrygo, Mbuemo, B Johnson to name a few off the top of my head!!

If we go into next season with Marmoush/Doku LW and Savinho/Bobb RW then we aint winning the league. Feels too inexperienced and frankly not good enough yet imo.

I agree. You used to hear that overseas players need a season to adapt and to especially get used to playing under Pep, but it seems people don't want to give them that time anymore.

I know Pep likes inverted wingers but Sav looks like he's struggling on the right side.
He always wants to come on to his natural left foot and it looks like he's thinking too hard about doing that rather than just playing his normal game.

LOL, not quite!!

In all seriousness, Brennan is a 1 goal in 3 wide player in a shocking Spuds team. Savinho is 1 goal every 21 games for us this season. The gulf between them is cavernous!!

He looks exciting, and he’s got skills, but the closer he gets to goal the worse he becomes.

His finishing is even worse than that of Grealish, Bernardo, Gundogan and Doku. Unbelievable how many brilliant players we have that are almost ineffective in front of goal.
