So what do you think should be done or are you not arsed? Solutions need to be found not slamming down/taking the piss out of fans trying to help other fans and sort the shit show of how the club are treating fans.

It will be a sterile disney show soon if you do fuck all about the way the club is going.

Seriously, you need to behave for fuck’s sake. This all started when someone at the OSC tweeted that they weren’t consulted about the open letter and basically slagged off the fan groups who signed it.

There are issues with how it's being run. The club are not treating supporters well.

The "I'm alright jacks" (includes me actually) are doing ok but what about your kids?

What about the future support? I join in these protests for them not me.

My opinion is that the letter to Pep is poor and leaves a bad taste.

Incidentally I agree with pretty much all the points raised in it, but the way it is written, who to, and how, is bordering on parody.

But to each their own.

Thereafter, the OSC letter expressing disappointment is badly timed and not great either. But the reaction to it is so ironic. Both are a bad look tbh.

The protests etc, I have never said anything negative about or against fwiw.

We probably agree on most of the issues, and that they need tackling.

I don't agree that the letter was a good move, I do think it is an act of ego, and I think it will do more harm than good. There. And I think the response is poor too, but the reaponse (here) to the response is pure hypocrisy.

TBF mate, we don’t know who made that decision. No OSC names are attached to the OSC statement. And no OSC positions within the OSC are attached to the statement. For all we know it could have come from Kevin Parker alone? I’m not saying it did. We’ve got enough secrecy and NDA’s from the club. We don’t need more of that from the people running the OSC. As an OSC member I would like to know who is disappointed with that statement to Pep. Because I certainly wasn’t. And I doubt many OSC members are.

Not in the slightest. I never said anyone needs to be on anyone's page. I am telling you how I think the letter reads. You refuse to accept that, as you always do. But clearly there are people that agree, and that in itself should be worth consideration ffs.

If I wanted to just take the piss here, there would be far easier ways to do that.

Particularly at a crucial point in a bad season.

The open letter isn't spiteful at all, what're you talking about?? It's letting pep know why the fans aren't as loud and in the ground as much as he wants.

And the issue at hand is far more important with longer lasting implications than "a crucial point in a bad season".

If the OSC are going to release a statement on behalf of it’s membership, who weren’t consulted, then the OSC people who came up with that statement should put their names to it, and the positions they hold within the OSC.

I've seen the title of the thread, the opening post, and ones that follow. I know what the thread is about.

The osc response isn't helpful, I've agreed on that. But the letter it is responding to is just as bad, imo. I stand by that, as far as my own view goes.

That's all pal. No other sides, comments on protests, or anything beyond that.

For a bit of balance

I could put something similar about the way some of the Eccles OSC help the homeless especially two of them who spend Friday nights trawling round Manchester doing what they can. The generosity of our fans was never in doubt that is why we support the Food Bank lads.
The discussion though is about the argument between the different factions within the club. The OSC Representative rather than the whole of the OSC surely? :-)
