Pep goes about the atmosphere at the ground, but he is trying to run a marathon with his shoe laces tied. He wants an atmosphere, but Ferran Sariono and his team are going in the opposite direction, chasing money instead of atmosphere

We all want a BLUE WALL but there needs to be a sea change at the club for this to happen

Just watch this video from a finance expert explains what is happening

Well I support every word of that letter. Very well written.

Watched that video when it came out. Good to see so many fans on the same page, but it's a huge concern that it's going on absolutely everywhere. It's not going to stop without mass protests, the fans have so much power they need to unite across football to stop this continued price increase and push to drive out season ticket holders and attract big spending match day fans.

We all talk about the fact that it will drive people away. They don't care. They want to maximise revenue. The gulf between the Championship and PL grows so the concern about the dark days when they need to loyal fans to return aren't shared. They're not thinking about those days, they don't see it as a realistic possibility. And they know, if that day does happen, they can just introduce cheaper tickets for that season and people will come back again. It's about squeezing every penny out of people.

It's good that fan groups have taken a stand this season at City and there has been a big achievement getting season ticket prices frozen. But we need more. I remain hopeful that our owners are better than the yanks, and will introduce a load of cheaper season tickets when the new NS opens...but I'm probably being naive.

How are you doing for numbers?
I last checked at 9am when it was 506. Definitely slowed down, but I think we’ll have around 600 by the deadline.

Either way, 500 fans bunched together with the sole intention to create an atmosphere should make a huge difference. We had around 180 for the semi and I thought that was impactful.

I think that's still fantastic numbers. Still got me and my dad to apply so you can add 2 more to it.

I'm not sure if you're even allowed to disclose this, but what sort of percentage of the block are ST holders compared to matchday members?

Just cause if it sells out to season ticket holders, you might have a lot of the block unable to buy tickets if there's a high proportion of matchday members?

Brings back such good memories.
It does mate, I’m not one to whip the phone out at games, but I was staggered by it. Like you say some top memories at a time where we had some incredible momentum, on the pitch and in the stands. We sang it a few times on Sunday as well, slightly nostalgic and topical given we (in my opinion) made a tremendous effort to get to Wembley and will do so again in a few weeks, if only we could stitch a two fingered salute into it for those slating the empties

It's roughly 50/50, mate. In a worst-case scenario (it sells out before going to members), we would still have 250+ SC holders bunched together (70+ more than the semi final).

Personally, I would be incredibly shocked if it doesn't go to members. Expecting around 34k tickets to come on sale and there's only ~36k SC holders. Ticket prices are going to be more expensive and it's our third final on the bounce (this time not against United, which drove up demand the last two years).

Applied yesterday pal when do we hear what the next step is? Need to know I’m in before the tickets go on sale

I know mate, I'm just remembering back to last year when we had 30,000 allocation and only about 13k went on sale to points on day 1. Hopefully you're right about there being less demand, and members get a chance to buy. Yes 250 people bunched together would still be fantastic

I will be emailing everyone in due course (probably tomorrow afternoon) with instructions on what to do.

If you want me to double check you're in the spreadsheet, pm me your details and I'll take a look.
