Really looking forward to this, been a while since I’ve done a Friday night game. Nice weather, finish for a long weekend, few bevvies and an important game, should be good.

I felt like the win against Villa, to make it three wins in a row was probably job done for the CL. But that's still reliant on us getting another 6 pts. The win over Forest wasn't comfortable, but we got the job done with a lot of changes. Wolves have been on an excellent run but up against some filth so I think we'll win this. Then go and beat Southampton and then I doubt we'll need anything from our final two games.

I would be pretty shocked if we didn't need anything from our last 2 games tbh, but hope your right!

Yamal says, watch me …..
Why are you comparing any young player to Yamal.
Savinho is one of a group of good young players where the jury is still out whereas Yamal looks like he is going to be one of those truly superb players that could possibly win everything to be won at club level and international level by the time he is 20, a world superstar

he does have a club leading 10 assists in all comps and club leading 8 assists in the PL.

caveat: I'm a Savinho fan and believe he will come good/better.
Guess it's another example of stats glossing over performance....I would guess, but haven't looked, that on goals/assists per mins played McAtee would look a world beater?
Your caveat....being a fan but still hoping Savinho will 'come good' or 'get better' says everything :) my opinion is he's bobbins, and I'd prefer Doku (who I think is nearly as bobbins). They both give the ball away, stupidly in stupid situations, Savinho slightly more so.

Comparing all or any young players to Yamal is as pointless as comparing everyone to a young Messi at the time.
Messis play style was pretty unique,Yamal not that much ,but yeah ,he is truly a generational talent and no point of comparing Savinho to him.

there are always deeper levels, but I still believe being club-leading assist maker in your first season, in a challenging season for the whole team, is worthy of some credit.

I think he's looked rough at times, but i've seen a lot of promise. He certainly needs to work on end product, tracking back and positioning off the ball, but i see no reason this can't be coached into a young player like him. I think the posters in his player thread that want rid are being far too premature.

You must be real joy to sit beside during a game. Nothing good enough.

I hope Wolves play Tommy Doyle. He rarely gets picked these days so it would be good to see him start against us. ( Doubt he’ll be at Wolves )next season. Be a good gesture to make him captain for the day. Can’t see it happening though.

I think we'd be OK on 67 points. Chelsea have to play the Dippers, Newcastle, Rags and Forest. Given our GD they would need to win three of those games. I think that's highly unlikely. (And of course that would mean Newcastle and/or Forest losing a game). Villa have an easier run, but would have to win all four of their remaining games to go above us.

As usual, the odds don't lie, and we are currently 1/10 on Betfair to make the top five.
