No offence to you pal as you seem sound but the only ground I either get any mither at after the game is molyneux for some strange reason, each of the last 3 years. I put the last couple down to the siege mentality created by Gary O’Neill (booing every throw in that doesn’t go to you, every foul given against you etc), maybe that created a bit of a hostile mentality? I know we beat you late this season but 2 grown men trying to have a pop at my 15 year old was fucking ridiculous
Yeah some of the men (?) in the southbank are a weird breed even I admit it. I know a lot of fans think everything is against us as we voted to get rid of VAR, the only club to put that vote in so now everyone has the mentality that the referees and the premier league are against us. Weird really, sorry to hear about your lad people who go to these games must have some low IQ’s lol

He was fine thanks pal. I stuck up for him (not sure that helped lol). It was fucking strange a grown men deliberately barging into him (he was wearing his City shirt) and calling him a City ****. My lads response of “did you enjoy the result mate” shall we say added to the atmosphere

Can we expect Arsenal and Liverpool to play strong teams against our top five contenders. Liverpool on cloud nine and Arsenal with PSG on their mind? We need Brighton and Liverpool to win on Sunday. If we can beat Wolves I think that would see us home and dry for a top 4 position. Cone on you Blue Boys

Wolves was never a hospitable place to visit back in the 70s, 80s, 90s ..... in the 70s we had to stand in the South Bank with them, and we weren't always segregated either .... you were always looking over your shoulder throught the match, sometimes you couldn't tell 'who was who' in there, and there was many a report of somebody or other being attacked, or stabbed in there...... mind you one of their lot was stabbed outside the ground by City fans either before or after a night match there, which led to the Wolves yobs ambushing our special train with bricks afterwards!

It even kicked off with Wolves fans after a game at Maine Road one season, in a street brawl at the back of the Kippax .... with missiles chucked in both directions, and fans at war.

Wolves fans were always an aggressive, troublesome bunch .... however i thought things had calmed down in Wolverhampton in recent years .... but judging by your post it seems that one or two Wolves fans still choose to live in those hostile times.

I remember being there one match where I think we won 4 0 (did I dream that?!) and it being very tasty with fuck all segregation. I also remember at a frank skinner gig one time how much he liked Wolverhampton (the only place where he ever felt trendy!)

vaguely remember a 4-0 win along long time back, it was safer to go in the south bank with the wolve's fans in those days, a guy called sammy chung managed them and the city fans were singing 'sammy chung and his chinese take away'

I recall one trip to Wolves when they were changing their ground configuration. They had a smashing new stand that they put us in, unfortunately it was the width of a pitch away from the touchline, and when we scored we had to listen to the radio to find out who'd got the goal.
