What I cannot accept is people not accepting that I am entitled to an alternative point of view - but then again that's their problem not mine.
I think you are confusing ‘not accepting’ and ‘disagreeing’. Your point of view is your own but if you make that point of view known to a wider audience then you should expect push back from those that disagree with it.
I think your point of view is foolish, shortsighted and, as history has shown many times, guaranteed to end in tears. I can understand (just) people voting Tory when led by a Theresa May or even Sunak. I may disagree with their policies and some of their attitudes, but they are not enemies of this country and its people. Farage despises this country and its people and his appeal lies with people who also despise this country.
Farage is no different to Trump and Johnson, the latter was ousted because of incompetence and his utter contempt for British values, conventions and people.
Nothing good comes out of voting for people like Farage and inevitably great harm follows in their wake. We were led down the Brexit route by Farage and Johnson and it bought nothing but division and chaos. It always does with these characters and it always will.
