They've tried that before & it didn't work. In rugby you are defending the whole tryline & losing a man for 10 minutes is a huge disadvantage, where as football teams will just put 10 behind the ball & waste time.

We know spurs aren't going to do much in the final.

Imagine finishing just above the relegation zone and still getting in the champions league.

I know the rules are the rules and they'll rightfully get in the champions league but it doesn't say a lot for the credibility of the champions league when you're gonna have literally one of the worst teams in a league qualifying. That goes for spurs too.
