He has been good to very good every game.

he isn't a right winger as used last night and has hardly been played centraly, but when he has he has produced.

Always making runs and wanting the ball cannot fault him atm.
Disagree, decidedly average to good.

But im not worried, i think we will see a different marmoush next season.

Those runs he makes only for one of our old guys to do a pirouette in midfield ignore him and and then go sideways. Haaland has almost given up making them. Unless the style changes next year, so will he.
If it doesn’t then we will be in the same position next season as playing this way with this team will get beat by all the top teams . We have the best striker in the world and need to build the team round him .

Don't like it when he plays on the right.
He's much better coming in off the left
Agree, it also is worse when that right side has him, Kevin and Nunes, no left footers.

He should have played in Gundogans spot.

Better on the left side but...

Marmoush is the best thing we can add to Haaland in attack. All our other forwards combined don't have the efficiency and impact he does. When Haaland is healthy, for me he is also an irreplaceable part of the starting 11.

Needs to be fed that ball in behind the defender to run onto, but then so does zeroing. The problem is, we don’t like the percentages for that pass 90% of the time, and when we do, half the time the pass is late and the player is offside!

As for good or not, that’s a silly question…of course he is! The bigger question is “If he is going to continue being ignored, is he going to continue taking speculative shots instead of making the pass or finding the better placed player?

Half of his shots atm are out of sheer desperation of actually receiving the ball with a sight of goal. If we created some chances for him, it might help alleviate that desperation for a goal!

Seems utterly bizarre to buy a striker for £60m and then stubbornly insist on playing him anywhere and everywhere but up front. A bit like refusing to play Josko at CB until there was no other option. But that’s why Pep gets the big bucks and it may be a short term fix until CL is secured

Marmoush is obviously a good player but is he City good? Would he get in Madrid, Bayern, PSG’s team? Remain to be convinced on what I’ve seen so far though obviously will be delighted to be proven wrong next season.

He will score goals but fuck me, his ball control is borderline championship standard. The first touch of Jimmy Savile

He's twice as good with his ball control than Julian Alvarez.. his pressing is about 95% as good as Julians and he seems to have a better link up with Erling than Julian did.

So if Julian suited us.. I have no doubts Omar will suit us even better.

That said I'm not sure he'll be here 10 years!

Any chance of anyone playing a fucking pass through to him. Haaland suffers the same unless Kev is playing, it's ridiculous.
Agree, we haven’t really got anyone in the side that plays those balls bar Kev,

Marmoush, Haaland and Foden are all run makers, not the one passing the ball. Next season will be interesting.

It is on Kev for this game I’m afraid. And the fans man of match Bernie is also partially blameable. With Bernie busy everywhere, he doesn’t pass the ball incisively much, mostly no-look back passes. Any forward pass would be to Kevin or Doku. Doku didn’t get any ball through from left wing after the assist. Kevin’s passes was off too. Gundo knocked every ball back to Diaz. Nunez struggled with controlling the ball every time and struggled with passing back … most of our players were standing and any pass coming seemed caught them flat footed - There was a floor pass from Kova to Doku in the box with no player within 5 meters and Doku was obviously sleeping and touched the ball 5 meters away. On the other hand the lack of exciting moment looked almost deliberate, just killing the game by smothering the play.

Where did we get all these players who's names end in Z?

He isn't an upgrade on Alvarez at all on the evidence so far. The thing is Alvarez wanted to leave so not much could have been done about.
What makes you say that? All the evidence points to us being unable to utilise him properly because our team can’t pass the ball forwards.

Great observation that. Gundo in a similar bracket. Creativity definitely an area we could look at. Both Nicos, Oscar maybe James and Rico might help. Next one s who really have passing flair I can think of are Mukasa and Gorman in the u18 but they are a bit off being ready yet.
