Not so sure mate . I think he will be out on loan .
If he is then it's pretty damning. Spending 30m on a guy, playing him half a dozen times, in which in my opinion he aquitted himself really well, then loaning him out. Who was responsible for this Txiki or Hugo?

Just not as good as the players who have played right now.

He’s young and he’ll have learnt a lot from these last few months going into next season.
I know he is not a RB as such but we started the season with possible options in Walker, Lewis, Ajanji, Kabore and Couto.
We have ended up with Nunes ( playing better than I thought he would) but no better than Khusanov was.
I know Pep took him off at halftime during a match due to Khusanov having a yellow card but he has since disappeared.
I thought he would have been back as a starter the following match

Reminds me a little of the season where Stones and Dias were brilliant together as a pairing, and Laporte had to wait and bide his time.

Dias and Gvardiol have been very good, why break that up.

I don't think Dias has been very good tbh, we are on a nice fun but certain frailties are still there. We have still been a tad dodgy at the back.
Peps tends to change the defensive line ups often so not sure what has gone on really.

I agree about Dias, and should have said in my post that he hasn't been particularly great. My post was more about how Dias and Gvardiol have formed a partnership and we're winning games. No real need to break that up, despite, as you say, Pep often makes changes.

I just seem to recall Pep allowing Ruben and John to form a sold understanding those few seasons ago, and just went with it. Laporte had to wait.

Of course, I could be totally wrong and talking out of my hole :)

Every other manager would have played Kus over Nunes.

Either bald-genius or bald-insanity.

I don't know which one lol.

Nope, really is this simple why hes not in the side. Need Akanji back into the rhythm of games scenarios and warm up/downs etc after the injury so not on the bench either.

Seriously doubt Khusanov could play as a wing back, we’ve gone on a nice little unbeaten/ winning run with this back 4, no need to change anything

My worry with him is his ability on the ball, I think he’s really gonna have to work hard to get into the side, whilst he’s a better 1v1 defender than anybody, he’s probably even worse than Dias on the ball.

After Pep goes in a year, I don’t think that’ll be as much of an issue tbf.

Nothing I said was with regards to places on the bench. Khush was still not playing before Akanji returned.

Although, I do completely agree with you on Pep wanting the more experinced Akanji back and involved. Makes complete sense and I said as such to my brother when he returned to fitness.
