I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere in the thread, but why the fuck is this happening before the end of the Premier League? Is that yet another part of the English game that has to be changed to make way for FIFA and UEFA bullshit by any chance?

I don’t know but it’s nothing new. It was the same in 2011 when we beat Stoke. The PL season ended the following weekend

The FA wanted more focus on the rounds and also the midweek rnd 4 moved back to weekends, to accomodate the Premier league said it wouldn't have fixtures on certain rounds the same day and also scrapped the winter break.In return the prem demanded they were the final games of the season and show piece finale

When we beat Stoke in the final,that was before the season finished,we played them at the etihad the midweek after the final,then at Bolton the following Sunday

Given that the FA Cup is normally a sell-out, the attendance figures fluctuations shown in your last link is interesting. Max capacity is 90000 but actual FA Cup attendance varies around the the 84-86k mark.

Must be a fair few no-shows.

Does anyone know what’s happening with the 1894 tickets? I am told me and my 2 lads are in a list that was sent to the club but I’ve no confirmation of 3 tickets and if not getting them I’d need to buy myself tomorrow? If anyone has any advice good they reply or send me a PM? Cheers

“Hey guys, I’m going to send an email out today with instructions on how to buy tickets for the singing section.

If you bought tickets for the FA Cup semifinal it works the same way - I just need to confirm which blocks/rows we have.

Remember, the seats are reserved so don’t panic and buy elsewhere if you qualify this morning.”
