This is going to be really good this summer and City have a great chance.
People and the Media in the UK will knock it as a Mickey Mouse cup because United or Liverpool are not in it

I even think Liverpool would swap the title for a chance of playing in this World Cup in the summer

Never really had anything like it take place in club football before.

The closest thing was that time when the knockout rounds of the Champions League & Europa were held across 19 days in Portugal/Germany due to Covid.

Because it got people like me to buy a ticket to Miami v Porto, a game I otherwise would have little/no interest in.

As much as I love watching city play, I think the last think we need is this tournament.

Yes, it's in the summer and sort of kills pre-season, but most of the City squad have had so much time off because of injuries, I think it will benefit us getting game time into them players like Rodri Bobb Haaland and the new players

Everyone to their own but I look at it like this,that if city hadn’t given me my greatest day following the club in Istanbul,I wouldn’t be going to America to watch this tournament,I couldn’t go to Saudi Arabia due to work and family responsibilities that close to Christmas,personally I can’t wait to get on that flight to New York on June 16th.

I'm looking forward to this tournament now.
Although the team have been flogged for a few years now, if we weren't in it we'd be flying off to the arse end of China for a meaningless money grab tour.
At least the team have something to play for here with a big chunk of change to earn.
