India / Pakistan conflict.

If "bombing other countries" is so bad, why did Britain launch the Falklands war and why are they egging on Ukraine? Why was Britain involved in destroying Iraq and Libya? It's not as if the NHS etc is in great shape?

What's really offensive is that, for all the sanctimonious "concern", when the British were in charge of India, barely 10% of India had school, electricity, clean water, sewage, the average lifespan was 29 years. Even though the population was a fraction of today's.

The reason that figure has risen to 80% today despite steep population growth, is because how much democratic, independent India has focused on it's people. Unlike Churchill and co.

One of the other priorities right now is to prevent other countries from sending over religious terrorists who repeatedly murder unarmed, defenseless Hindu civilians. It's called multitasking.
Not really sure Britain launched the Falkland's conflict

Modern India can only be viewed post colonialy. The poverty is a direct result of deliberate underdevelopment during British rule. The countries wealth was stripped from it. And the grounds of this conflict were created by divide and rule British tactics culminating with partition.
What year does that stop being an excuse? Coming up on 80 years of independence in a couple of years.

There is no excuse for what UK did under colonization. Looting and killings of innocents for centuries. Just the monetary number is Trillions in current value. The killings and genocide of millions will not be forgotten ever. No amount of virtue signaling will be able to cover the atrocities committed by the racist colonizers.

White superiority isn’t it?

You people back door fund the Pakistanis , India gets attacked you people don’t today anything to your Pakistani mates but when India retaliates it’s the problem isn’t it?
Not really on board with people needlessly killing other people regardless of skin colour.

Also, don't assume that just because someone is from a country that they support that countries actions. The UK Government hasn't represented my personal views for as long as I've had any.

Round 1 goes to Pakistan, a few small buildings attacked in return they shoot down at least 3 jets. And now its their turn to bat.

Before the East India company rocked up the sub continent was an idyllic paradise and if it hadn't would still be one. Same goes for everywhere else the Europeans contaminated two hundred years ago with its weird ideas of civilization.

This should be merged with existing thread terrorist attack in India or modified India attacks Pakistan to retaliate against innocent killing of civilians by terrorist country .

Precisely. Britain responded to unprovoked aggression by another country, ruled by a nasty military regime, that wanted to cover up it's own inadequacies by attacking what is, despite their claims, British territory.

Notice the similarities?
There are none , the Argies invaded our sovereign territory and we defended it.

Modi is cut from the same cloth as Trump of course. Borders are just lines on a map.
Modi is doing what should have been done way before. India should have long before gone after below terrorist who have been hiding in Pakistan and killing innocent tourists in name of religion .

Hafiz Saeed – 26/11 mastermind, LeT chief – Under house arrest (periodically), largely protected

Ayman al-Zawahiri – Al-Qaeda chief – Dead (killed in U.S. drone strike, 2022)

Dawood Ibrahim – 1993 Mumbai blasts, D-Company head – At large, lives in Karachi

Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi – 26/11 handler – Released, protected by state

Abdul Rehman Makki – LeT senior leader – Arrested after FATF pressure (2023)

Been to India.

It was a life-changing experience, but there's millions of people just living their lives in the streets. Washing, sleeping, cooking etc

The rivers running through the cities, you cant even see the water in places due to the amount of plastic and rubbish floating.

But their priority right now is to bomb another country, apparently. Good stuff.
What is Pakistan priority ? Economically ruined country only aim to kill people in India .India is progressing on economic front but it doesn’t mean protecting their people self from failed terrorist state is not priority. How conveniently you have ignored terrorist attack on civilians by failed state named Pakistan.
Pakistan should have first stopped sheltering terrorists. Why is Masood Azhar still alive?
And what about Hafiz Saeed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, and Dawood Ibrahim?
These are not just names they’re UN-designated terrorists , yet they continue to find safe haven in Pakistan.

Unfortunately for Pakistan, India has as much right as Britain to defend it's sovereign territory and retaliate against unprovoked aggression.

Though there was one difference. The Argie soldiers were brave and wouldn't resort to attack unarmed British civilians.

Can't believe there's no pubs open in Dawlish Warren never had a problem getting pissed there :-) . Don't tell me Lee's bars shut(had some proper piss ups in there) or the Silly Goose, and there was a young lady from Bristol who was very obliging one warm summers evening at the side of the Redrock the joys of youth.
They all closed at 22:00

Been having a few in Newton Abbot. Came back to find the Warren Inn and Lees bar both closing.
