Champions League Games | Semi Finals | 29/30 April & 6/7 May '25

PSG beating us was the turning point for them and have not looked back. Deserve to be in the final.

Milan looked limited when we played them. Surprised they have made it through but have proved they are difficult to beat.

Should be a decent final as a neutral.

Pleased with our run this season in the CL. We will strengthen over the summer and go again - big learn is against the top teams you can't lose concentration for even 10 minutes across the 2 legs and you have to take your chances. I'd have fancied us to beat Inter in the final - I think PSG will rinse them.
Not a hope in hell your lot would have beat inter. Behave

I know I shouldn't but might listen to talksport in the morning if Keown is on.
Failing that, might listen to that cranky bald bumnal fan who is always interviewed by the tubby Black lad.

This really isn’t a “ big learn” you don’t have to be Pep to understand this.
Yet it's a lesson City themselves had to learn in the CL is it not? Like when you lost concentration at the end vs Real Madrid? Like when you weren't at it vs Chelsea? Saying it and experiencing it 1st hand are 2 different things - I guess it's why Real Madrid find their way to the title many times despite rarely being the best team.

Mask is gently slipping here. Stay humble mate

It's easy to mock Arsenal as they're such an unlikeable club, but football really is about small margins. In that first half they could have easily have drawn level in the tie but for three world class saves. The better team won over the two legs though.

Well quite. But I'm still allowed to be encouraged about our run to the semi and what we have learned. It took City quite a few seasons before they won the CL so I'm not sure why that doesn't apply to us.

We need to strengthen in the summer (and will). I wouldn't cry if Arteta got fucked off but that won't happen.
Not as many seasons as it has taken you......maybe you're very slow learners ;)

It did take us a few attempts at it, Alot of which were really fine margins and mostly getting done on away goals.

Like most teams, You've to continuously get to the the QF, SF and maybe a Final to eventually go onto win the competition, You've to go through alot of tough times before you get your hands on it if you ever get your hands on it because it's so difficult.

The club itself and the manager have played a huge part in the downfall in the first leg coming out with nonsense before the game, The manager making videos and saying stuff like "The biggest ever game at The Emirates". As big as a game as it was, He needs to be playing ot down and calming his players, Something he can't do because he conducts himself like a ****.
