Perhaps try becoming Champions of England before getting carried away with being champions of Europe. It says it all about modern football that a team that hasn’t got near a league title in over 20 years (yep twenty years) feels they are good enough to be champions of Europe.

Agree about champions of England. But champions of Europe come on, it's a cup competition which early rounds are a money making exercise to rinse gullible fans, me included till next season when I am out, before the knock out stages, which is invariably played between most clubs nowhere near been champions of their country the season before. I don't think they were unlucky because great saves is great play. However they went out on their shield. If the manager just said that we would all say fair enough.
