GK, we could live with for another year. Agree need 2 fullbacks. But 3 midfielders, if thats true then our heads have gone completely.

What on earth are you talking about? We have doku, savio, bobb and marmoush. we are stacked on the wings!
On the other hand, both ortega and ederson are probably out this summer. we definitely need a keeper.
KDB, bernardo, gundo, kova and grealish are probably all leaving, that leaves you with rodri, nico and foden in midfield. you need AT LEAST 3 midfielders. I just don't see how wing is the priority?

There is a difference, I think, between those who play wide as a kind of an inverted winger and those who are "proper" wingers who play up and down the flank, whose role is that of a winger in attack & defence, & sometimes inverted. I would not classify Marmoush as a winger. (Not even sure if he could play as a "proper" winger in the future either.)

If we take it that next season we are playing with 3 midfielders and 3 "attackers", wherever they actually end up on the pitch, I would definitely bet on marmoush being an attacker and competing pretty directly with rodrygo for minutes
 
I like him as a player.

Those talking about his stats have to realize he has been shoehorned at RW for so long.

Last season, simplg playing RS in the 442 diamond or sometimes false 9, he played way better for Madrid. Mbappe changed things for him.

As others have said, we are also very stacked on the wings, but he can play LW, False 9 or as a 10, Pep will like that flexibility.

But im also unsure how we accomodate him, Wirtz, and/or MGW? Something has to give here, so im unsure what the clearout is or if if Rodygo IS the Wirtz alternative, but just a different profile.

I agree that wingers aren't an absolute priority but I very much doubt all 5 of those are leaving this window. Probably 2 or 3 at most and so I can't really see us bringing in more than one or two for midfield this window.

Much also depends on where Guardiola sees certain players futures. I personally believe that Bobb will ultimately play more as an AM than on the wing and we also have O'Reilly and possibly Lewis as well for midfield roles (probably more suited there than FB). Of course there is Nunes as well but Guardiola doesn't seem to trust him in midfield.

If Foden and Bobb play more centrally, it only leaves us with Doku, Savinho as actual wingers, though I guess Marmoush and McAtee could be played wide too.

Ultimately it all depends on outgoings and where our manager sees some of our existing players fitting into the squad. So I guess there could be a place for Rodrygo but I must admit to not being overly impressed on the few times I have seen him play.

Most of those wingers are far too inexperienced. We are stacked with inexperience in that area and we have seen what that has done to us this season. We need at least one top level seasoned/established winger/wide player (Rodrygo type) or we will struggle again next season.

GK, i would agree we need a new one ideally. But could muddle thru potentially for another year.

Clearly all 5 Central players you have mentioned are not leaving. Fantasy land. 2/3 may go, 5 going is not happening!! Rodri/Nico G/Kova/Gundogan/Foden/Nico O will likely be here, Bernardo because of the wages could well stay also and you want 3 more…?? One AM (Wirtz type) would be great tho!!

Disagree since he's not a 10 in the traditional sense. He's more of a goal scoring winger/ false 9.

Even his POTY year.. he only had 8 assists.. and there were 21 players ahead of him.. including Haaland.

Think we're gonna have to buy or manufacture a 10.

Is he a world class winger? And im a fan by the way. But is he a WC winger?

I see no evidence of that personally. What i see is immense potential.

In Oscar i believe. There's a kid in Spain i like, Alberto Moleiro, but the more i watch him, the more he just looks like a Spanish Oscar to me.
 
Another LW. Don’t see any reason for him beside paying Madrid the Huijsen money
