I'd class it centre left at the most. If it was true left it would have been up Corbyn's arse rather than fighting him at every turn when he was leader of Labour.

The BBC are just a joke organisation.

Billions of pounds of licence fee payers money and it took them 4/5 months to cover this story (after every other news organisation has broken it), it took the Sun to break the Hugh Edwards paedophile story despite BBC bosses knowing about it, and years to cover the grooming gang cover-ups.

They're the perfect example of why you should never have state media. Defund them and let them compete on the same terms as the rest of the media.

The Guardian is upper middle class left. So very progressive on social causes, talks a good game when it comes to supporting the underprivileged, but no-one who works there has ever actually met a poor person. Lib Dem, basically.

That just means it was a “straightforward” exit. I personally had someone removed following an internal audit investigation and nothing appeared in any external documents around his exit - only in internal Company records. I don’t know anything about this case, but obviously she did not leave the Company on disciplinary grounds. But the lawyer is making a non-point unless people are saying she was effectively sacked - which she clearly wasn’t.
I can’t see her surviving much longer- will be shuffled out in Summer, if she lasts that long.

No love for the woman at all but it’s interesting to see the BBC coverage of, at worst, a minor expenses breech which didn’t cost the ‘tax payer’ a penny; compared to Sunak, Hancock and Johnson actually fraudulently giving away billions of pounds of ‘tax payer’ money, whilst all ‘losing’ all their phone messages…..
