Absolute must win game. It's crucial for the club's future that we qualify for the CL. A game, as they all are, for fully focused players who know we need to win. Holiday mode players can stay at home sunbathing.

If Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal were in this Competition there would be a Different Spin on it from the Media

It would kill there Agenda if we were announced as the World Club Champions for next 4 Years

Don’t listen to the Negative
I wouldn’t surprised if we’re the next hosts too.

A **** of a night all round. Hurricane on way back, a34 was closed with no diversion signs, back home about 4 am. My passenger was ok tho, 24 cans of magners and 5 pints in the pub!
Did he have a large Comfort Conditioner bottle to piss into enroute?

Why would you even post this? Have you seen how focused our team has been the last 2 months, how focused we are at the end of every season? Not disrespectful on the beach cunts like the arrogant dippers

How many of those youngsters we sold to Southampton are still there?
They took a chance with a very young team and it certainly hasn't paid off.

What a memory of this ground. Was behind the goals when Jesus scored that last kick of the game goal - to give us 100 points. Great day & their fans were great.
Hughes was their manager - it was nice :-)
I was there as well - great finish.

With Lavia they made their money back.

Soton were never staying up with their model for club
Good point.
Had a quick Google to see where some of them are now.
Shea Charles on loan to Sheffield Wednesday Bazunu on loan at Standard Liege. Edozie on loan to Anderlecht.
Larios and Harwood Bellis still there.

I guess smaller teams like Southampton ( And I mean no disrespect by that ) have to gamble. Within their budget they either buy promising youth and/or old pros who they think can keep them up. If one starts to shine they then have to sell them to balance the books. Look at how many great talents they've had and sold to other clubs, mainly bloody Liverpool. If they could have kept them all they would have been challenging for honours but sadly clubs like Southampton never can or do.

In the past, this game had "typical Citeh" written all over it. A nailed on 2-1 defeat was almost certain. Have we totally, and permanently, banished that mindset?

4-1 today.

Er; for us.
