Probably because it shouldn't even matter what other teams do given the cushion we had going into the game today and the remaining fixture list. Only getting a point against Southampton is criminal when we still have Fulham and Bournemouth who have proven to cause problems for plenty of teams this season.

Yeah all joking aside, and even with my we have no given right to win every game, 3 points against this Southampton side should have happened. Hopefully a good kick up the arse ahead of the final and the last two games.
 
Newcastle to beat Chelsea as they have home advantage.

Arsenal Newcastle may be a draw.

I think Newcastle hit 70 points. Chelsea get 4 more points 67.

Forest beat Leicester and draw with Chelsea. I actually think West Ham can get a point. So Forest 66.
Arsenal 4 more points even though they'll lose tomorrow 71.
Villa if they hang on today get 69.

So 4 points should be enough because goal difference would have us edge Villa and probably see off Chelsea and Villa

Although I'm far from convinced we'll get 4. Depends if Fulham are on the beach

The cup final then 3 days later Bournemouth will decide our fate for champions league in my opinion could go either way with a feel good factor from winning the cup or lose it and go into the Bournemouth game on a downer and feeling sorry for ourselves..
 
What did Foden do to dererve a start ? Guordiola has been changing the team every game , he is one the most risk averse manager ever

Think you are wrong about the CWC

Finishing second after 4 previous title wins is decent too.

It can all still happen but today has made it a lot harder.

I think we'll still do it. Partly because everyone behind us is pretty wobbly. Also, they've all got to play each other.
If we fail by not despatching Bournemouth and Fulham — both good teams by the way, but should be within our range, if we do have any serious pretentions to participating in Europe's premier competition — then I say good luck to anyone who overtakes us.
