We have struggled against nearly every side we have faced this season.there's nothing to suggest our last 2 fixtures won't follow suit.
That 160m we spent in January needs explaining. Especially the reason why we are not playing them. Marmoush should have been on from the start today ,ditto Nico. Rank bad management no 2 ways about it

That January money may need to be subjected to a full-scale enquiry.

Bournemouth game worries me in that in could be all about de bruyne and they take their eye off the ball.
That goes for fans too. We will all want to give de bruyne the send off he deserves but getting 3 points needs to be the bigger focus.

Think we need Newcastle to beat Chelsea tomorrow to give us a little more breathing room.
Considering they’ve got the harder run in that might be the best option.
After to today I’m not 100% convinced we beat either Bournemouth or Fulham so we need all the help we can get.
Fuck me what horrible season.

I think we'll still do it. Partly because everyone behind us is pretty wobbly. Also, they've all got to play each other.
If we fail by not despatching Bournemouth and Fulham — both good teams by the way, but should be within our range, if we do have any serious pretentions to participating in Europe's premier competition — then I say good luck to anyone who overtakes us.

The only team behind us that’s wobbly is Forest but they have Leicester at home tomorrow, a woeful West Ham side before a winner takes all match against Chelsea. Villa have won 5 from 6 with only a checked out Spurs and United to play. Chelsea are unbeaten in 6 but have Newcastle away and Forest away but gave an easy match against United on Friday. Newcastle have 13 from the last 18 but have Chelsea home and Arsenal away but an on the beach Everton.

Today’s result was disastrous, Bournemouth 3 days after Wembley was always going to be tricky but now it’s a must win.

Trying to do all the ifs and buts, but I can't help but think we've fucked it today

Villa will beat Spurs and United and finish on 69
IF we beat Bournemouth we move onto 68, and would need a point at fulham to finish above Villa. The issue is, after watching that today it's difficult to see us getting 4 points out of 6, I hope I'm wrong

Forest win tomorrow and at WHU go up to 67, with a shootout against Chelsea

Starting to think our best chance is Chelsea beating Newcastle tomorrow, and them then getting beat at Arsenal as well

Just struggling to see us finishing off with a bang after today

An on the beach Everton that has just beaten Fulham. We will be ok although a win today would have given us some wiggle room.

Typical City! Before that game and with our recent form, we could’ve challenged Arsenal for second BUT after that performance it’s gonna be touch and go whether we make the top five. We never make it easy for ourselves do we? Pep needs to get his act together and stop fucking about with the team.

My coupon bust today but previously I only had us down for a draw with Everton so square. I think the barcodes will beat Chavs tomorrow and then lose next week away against Arse, their last home fixture. God knows what we will do though.

I've got
Us
Newcastle
Chelsea
Villa
All on 69 points with forest on 65

If you’re right Villa’s goal difference does it for them. Can’t see Forest dropping points against Leicester and West Ham. Puts them on 67 with Chelsea to play.

Worst thing is united could easily get champions league as they have Spurs to play, while we’re in Europa. The thought of it almost makes me physically ill.

To be honest across the season it's debatable whether we deserve it. Newcastle and Villa have played very well at times. Forest have punched above their wait.
