Imagine a world where we smash up the league for 10 years and have a season where we finish 3rd win the the FA cup but the fans want more so some of them believe they can do it better?

Fuck knows what it was like in November and December when we actually were shite.

There's no overthinking, rather a cavernous gap of thinking at all. That was 99½ minutes of turgid drudgery, the like if I forgot even existed. Pity the poor sods that wasted a load of money and a day of their life to witness that shite. The reality is, this team is shot, and Guardiola's methodologies are busted too. We are barely better than an average team anymore and that horror show today, is testimony to how far we have fallen. Likeable Pep is, but he does not have the hunger, time nor a viable alternative style of play to rebuild this team and he needs to admit his limitations and move on.

Pep set his standards high, that high that others who live vicariously through him believe that they can do better :)

Criticising the performance is fine, but when you get posters saying they can do better than Pep and that it's "Easy" is arrogant and raggish.

Just say we weren't at it today and that we shouldn't just EXPECT to win, all that with no respect for the opponent who had nothing to lose because the trapdoor is already open for them.

Look at their results and we can have a conversation.

Mate, those players were pathetic. He can’t kick the fucking ball for them. And don’t get me wrong Pep has got loads wrong this season. But our EDS could beat that Saints team. The performance was squarely on the players. Especially the so
called leaders and experienced ones. Played with zero intensity.

Being the best coach in the world, which he has been for years comes with a lot of expectation. Our squad is underperforming and we’ve been witness to some very questionable decisions in personnel this season along with tactics that don’t suit the players we have.

People are right to question Pep this year regardless of what has gone before. There are glaringly obvious mistakes that should have been rectified and weren’t.

I’m not calling for his head at all, nowhere near that. I just can’t understand what he’s seeing this season. He is absolutely petrified of us losing the ball and so he’s killed every ounce of creativity we have to compensate. That to me says he doesn’t trust the players and that’s fine, so why not play a different game that suits them?

Totally agree on the intensity. Didn’t look like a team who’s trying to get CL qualification and building some momentum for a cup final a week from today.

The subs were puzzling from Pep though. The Marmoush sub probably should’ve come sooner and Haaland should’ve come off instead of Foden.
