Because the routines and delivery are dogshit most of the time. If you want to complain about someone not scoring goals, then use that energy for our forwards who contribute fuck all.

One of those players that just hates losing, Rodri is the same.

The comments aren't great but don't really mean much really. I'm sure our players will know they were wank today.
 
Piss poor comments from somebody who usual speaks very well. If that was said by somebody from another side i'd lay into them for it. Expect better from him.

They're under no obligation to play how we want them to play, it's our job to find a way through, we didn't, that's entirely on us. Southampton tactics proved to be spot on as they've just got a point nobody expected then to get, it was our approach to the game that was the problem not theirs.

Correct. I expect better from a City player, particularly one of the senior group. It comes across as sour grapes. And I would hope that after the weekend, when things have calmed down, he'll look back at those comments and cringe,whatever he's saying between the lines.

Rodri's done it loads in the last 2 years and he went on to win the Balon d'Or and arguably could be captain as well.

They're in bad taste but not sure they affect anything really.

Definitely doesn't rule him out of captaincy, just frustration after a shit performance.

Nothing rules him out of being our captain these days. Look who we had as captain at the start of the season
 
Unexpectedly classless.
Smacks of the deep frustration that he and others must be feeling at going from being comfortably the best team in Europe two years ago to where we are now.
 
I wanted this guy to be our captain next season but after his post match Southampton comments I have changed by mind completely.

The comments were arrogant, ignorant and not befitting a City Captain.
 
The post match comments aren’t great but at least he cares.

A low bar admittedly but it’s been a season where players seem devoid of any passion.
