Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Just cancelled mine after 36 years. Did it through the email as above poster has alluded to.

VAR, hardly any 3pm kick off times, parking restrictions around the ground and the whole match day experience have killed it for me. Add in family commitments and I didn’t see it as an option this time round.

Will I miss it, probably, but I’m also looking forward to spending my weekends slightly differently, maybe more golf? I’ll still be a member and choose the games I can get to so certainly not calling time on watching at the Etihad.

Exactly what he wants I know. My dad has not renewed either. So there will be two long standing season ticket holders less next season. Our tickets were prime seats as well in the Colin Bell. Whenever they went on the exchange they’d be sold immediately. There’s no way the club will list theses during the relocation window, they’ll be corporate from now in with a meal at a restaurant in town.

I renewed this morning. Very easy process.

I am very happy with Pep and City as a team. We are eking out the maximum from a team that is over the hill. I am fairly confident that we will complete the re-building in the Summer.

I am excited by the new stadium and in living in a vibrant city that is one of the best places to live in England.

Just one week to the Cup Final. Counting down each day.

If City are successful, the solution will be to allow seasoncard fans to exchange their seats with local matchday fans. That started to happen in the CL games but some City fans didn't realise this was happening. They see a foreign face and this think they've flown in from Pakistan, India or China when likely they got the bus in from Rusholme.

Asked a question about the junior pull through flexi gold season tickets and when there will be information and received this answer.

I just think this is backwards when you consider that a lot of adults who get one of these for a child will need to relocate. And there is a lack of non single seats in a lot of areas of the ground.

Rusholme with a massive Japanese speaking community.

What the hell is that emoji at the end of their response!

After toying with the complexities in the idea of transferring the ticket to a 3rd party for a season, and realising that living at distance and intensive full-time care stops me attending, I informed the club on the 6th that I will not be renewing.

Fair play to them that they rang me up to discuss the situation in detail, as they already had some idea of my situation from @Alex - City Matters . Surprisingly, they suggested I could either defer or transfer to a friend on a season by season basis, but I declined with no suitable transferee. I also did I want to become an admin nightmare by deferment (ex Army, so I will never let myself become a complication).

What they have agreed however, and that my account notes now indicate, is that if my situation changes, then I will be offered a full Gold seasoncard when I am ready to return. On speaking to the team, I did get the feeling that they are shocked at how much this has pissed people off, and I sensed that they have a feeling that they have got this badly wrong.

If it does change in the short, then it won't benefit me immediately, but hopefully, if there is a chance that I can return again, then I have it in writing I can get a full seasoncard back at that time.

My lad is in the same position. I emailed the club and they suggested he could swap to the Flexi gold, but as he wouldn't be able to attend the 16 matches, he'd be stuck with it.

I've no problem with putting his seat on the exchange, which we've done this year when he's not been able to make games, so it's the 10 personal attendance rule that will be the issue.

I did try downloading his ticket to my phone recently but it won't let me. Presume it can only be in one wallet at a time, so for next season may try and get his ticket onto mine and then I can use it occasionally if it hasn't sold to make sure we make the 10 minimum.

At the other end of the spectrum, my dad is in his 80s, does ok with his phone but hasn't worked out how to do the exchange and although he's linked and I can buy tickets for him, I can't put them on the exchange. He'll occasionally miss a game due to health or if the weather is really bad, so doubt he'll make 16 games so chances are next season will be his last.

Weird that City don't want older fans who've been going since the 50s to attend, or younger fans who are just about to start having disposable income. Maybe I need to get them both half and half scarves so they can get in
you should be able to get it on two devices. Speak to supporter services. Maybe it's still recorded as being on an old phone or something.

38 years as a season ticket holder ends today. Ticket 'retired' on just over 34000 points on my terms. I haven't lived in Manchester since I left home to join the forces at 16 and face a 3 hour each way journey for home games so I have transferred or returned tickets for daft kick off time games recently but always ensured my seat was occupied. My 'appeal' was met with a "suck it and see" generic email response so that's me. I'm done.

That’s pretty poor from the club and I feel for you. Our loyalty is being taken for granted and football has unfortunately sold its soul. It’s no longer the people’s game.

The end game for the club is to have everyone on Flexi Gold. They are doing this by stealth with the very crude 10 game personal attendance requirement. At some point in the future, most people's circumstances will change and they will be unable to meet these T & C's. What the club fail to realise or care about is that the different generations of supporters whom this will affect are the soul of the club. If you wipe them away now, then whenever hard or less successful times return (and they most certainly will at some point), you will have nothing. Sadly, the club are unable to see the long term value in preserving a strong relationship with the different generations of supporters. They have been seduced by the bean counters and have sold the club's soul to the devil.
