They appear to be paving the way for Jenrick. Farage and Jenrick would then try and outdo each other to see who lacks the most compassion, humanity and common decency.

But a fight for the right, and the far right at that, can only benefit Labour.

Correct but we have an issue.

Starmer and Reeves are busy joining in with that fight for the right rather than benefiting from it.
 
Hmmm - this is most welcomed but I wonder is there something else behind it? Maybe an eventual stalking horse emerging from their ranks ?

Dearie me - the lamentable Stride overlooks that its been on its last legs for years - The whole group collapsed in 2020 and 3 stores were re-opened by this shyster - 2 of those were closed forever in 2023 - Mel doesn't mention that does he probably because they failed in the economy run by his Govt. I go down there 2 - 3 times a year and Beales is a shadow of what it was - many have said over the last 12 months that remaining store looked like an indoor market plus there may have been a cost of 25 jobs which is sad but there never seemed to be more than 5 staff on shift at any one time - your local Lidl has more - they can blame who and what they want but its failed management with a failed business plan

its fantasy scaremongering mate - remember the time when the entire population of Turkey was on its way here just as soon as they joined the EU? That was Farage's claim and 9 years on Turkey is not a member state - fear and loathing is all the Right have now because 14 years in power showed they have fuck all else.

Glad it's only scaremongering. For a moment I thought it might be a whopping great lie.
 
Philp - thick as ever - first thing that comes to mind is the thing he is criticising is something the Govt he was in allowed to happen. He goes in to cheapen and denigrate skilled people - presumably some are his constituents. The basic care certificate is at least a 3 month commitment - if you do a care apprenticeship thats 12 to 18 months
