Though with this set up you could argue Khusonov for Akanji as doku or Marmoish whoever is on his side can provide width

You could also argue Foden instead of KDB - both have been equally as bad recently but Foden has more of a future

In the post-Southampton press conference, a Scottish journalist mentioned to Guardiola that he hadn’t yet started de Bruyne, Marmoush, and Haaland together, which appeared to be news to Pep. He’ll probably give it a whirl now.
 
City are 2/5 on to win. Palace 12/5. Not in my head!! Feels like 50/50 even with our form. Here’s hoping we ride our like, turn up and land another trophy.
 
I think we will lose this one now and the reason will be prioritising Bournemouth which Pep has already said is much more important after the draw v Southampton.

So why didn't he prioritise Southampton, win that and have it locked in. Instead he wants to throw another cup final. He can fuck off if that's the case and refund us all.
 
I'm confident. Think we will win 3-0.
Not basing that on Saturday's performance of course but I think we will be up for it on Saturday and blow them away.

However I have a bad feeling we’ll see all three of KDB, gundogan and silva start along with possibly lewis at RB. That would be a recipe for disaster but hope I’m proved wrong.

That's a pretty good team, and I'd be fairly confident we could get it over the line with that. However, it won't happen. Grealish can't even get one minute on the pitch from Guardiola? No way on earth he's being selected for this final. Also, I believe, no way Bernardo's being left out. Pep loves the running he does, and the control he brings. Also, to be fair Bernie's been not bad recently. Certainly not worse than anyone else.
If Haaland is selected alongside Marmoush that's pretty good. If he's selected instead of Marmoush, I'll be downright angry.
Phil has done nothing to merit a starting place, for weeks. If all of Gundo, Kev and Bernardo are selected then it's more or less another Porto…
 
We can beat Palace providing we keep things tight at the back, and stay in the game ...... i doubt they will miss early chances again, if they get them, as we saw from them in the league game at the Etihad a few weeks back .... they definitely have the pace, the determination, and the players to give us a really difficult time, Eze is in the form of his life right now, and Mateta will make sure he's a real handful for our defence ..... Palace aren't gonna want to pass up this chance of finally landing a trophy for the first time in their history.

It's a very difficult one to call, but City players should know the dangers of dithering on the ball, and standing off talented Palace players who can do us real damage, if they're given the room ..... let's just hope we turn up in this one, we're gonna need to!
