Said in a previous thread just yesterday we need to start being more clever with selling youth. Add in a clause that states if thr buying club sell him to certain rival clubs then that 20% sell on jumps to 50%.
If they're selling him for £30m and we are pocketing £6m, they're getting £24m. with the proposed clause above they'd have to sell him for £50m to a united/dippers or whoever we name to get the same amount and then we are pocketing a pretty hefty £25m ourselves instead of a fairly inconsequential £6m. It's still not an entirely unrealistic figure for the buying club and we get a much better deal.
As it is we're losing too much money on these players and seeing rivals picking them up for good prices. Got to be better in that department. Hopefully Viana identifies it.
