City sold out about 35 minutes ago by the way.

I have this concern that Pep will prioritise the Bournemouth game and pick a mix and match team based on Tuesday. I’m not saying he is wrong to do that as I agree with Pep when he says CL qualification is “much much more important”
It’s just that I normally vote for us win pretty much every game but I chose lose on this one just because of the club’s priorities. Palace can afford to throw the kitchen sink at this while we have a balancing act to do.

We cannot afford extra time.

I, along with thousands of other fans, will be royally pissed off if Pep picks a shit side and we get a performance like the Southampton game and are soundly beaten, in our only hope of a trophy this season. I know I'll get stick for saying a shit side but everybody knows what I mean by that. Sub standard compared to.our first eleven. It will be the last time I fork out hundreds of pounds to go to Wembley if our manager chooses a first eleven that finishes our chances of actually winning the thing. We've suffered such displays against Wigan and more shamefully against the rags, enough is enough.
As for rest, we actually play worse the more rest we have.

Buzzin for Saturday - travelling with my brother, son & daughter and visualising KDB lifting that cup ... o how I hope that comes true .. it will be my 5th cup final and currently at 2 wins and 2 losses so need this one to balance the books ... this will be a great lifetime experience with my family whatever the result but the 'win' is the icing on the cake ... we will still remember the people who can't be with us on Saturday and appreciate how lucky we are to see City in a cup final ... onwards and upwards we go ... CTID

4 titles in 4 years and 3 FA Cup Finals on the trot. Enough is enough? Pep throwing finals is a media narrative. I was gutted we lost the FA Cup Final to Man Utd but here we are back at Wembley again largely down to Pep. How many title winning sides has he built and yet you are on the edge?

Pre Cup FInal nerves.

Of course it's nerves we've seen performances drop a fair bit when he makes too many changes as against Southampton and struggling to beat Orient and Plymouth in earlier rounds. If we take a highly motivated Palace lightly we'll get beaten. I'd add nerves are down to aside from which team he picks we're back to not knowing which City will turn up on the day. We can get the team that thrashed Newcastle or the one that laboured against Southampton. Also what we've won in the past is irrelevant for Saturday. We have an inconsistent ageing side in the middle of a rebuilding process. It is what it is however and I'll.be there hoping we put a performance in and get the job done.

I wish that I had any idea of what our "first eleven" is at the moment - I have absolutely no idea. I have no idea what Pep perceives as his first eleven either - I'm not sure that he knows what it is either.

Not so long ago, KDB, Haaland, Foden, Bernardo, Gundo and Grealish would have been there. Nunes, O'Reilly, Kusanov, Gonzalez, Doku and Savinho weren't in the picture. Now, we have the balancing act - with Lewis and Macatee - + Ortega for Ederson as a possibility - coming in.

Akanje, Dias and Gvardiol - what shall we do with those three? Who should I be faithful to?
O'Reilly?

Fuck it; just start Rodri, Ecceveri and Oscar Bobb - stop worrying!!!

I said in an earlier post that I'm not going to even think about the selection. Pep will do what he does and none of us can predict it - I defy anyone to predict the right "First eleven."

We turn up there on Saturday and - as ever - we shout our City songs loud and long, and trust that whoever wears the sky blue shirt to gets the job done.

And, breathe....!

Sadly, it is impossible to believe that Pep will not be prioritizing the Bournemouth game, but he will also be looking for the best players to nullify both oppositions.

It’s “Do or Die!” so some players are going to have to suck it up and play both games, but hopefully will be able to get 15-20 mins rest on Saturday.

COME ON, CITY!!!

Us fans are weirdly relaxed about this game. I think it's because of the 4 successes in the play off finals which are far bigger games from the point of view of destiny, than a trophy game. So it's a day to enjoy and hopefully get something historical alongside the almost laughable Zenith Data Systems cup... 45,000 quid they are spending on tifo... so look out for that. Admittedly it is the key to Europe, but with a thin squad is that a case of careful what you wish for.

I'm more relaxed than usual because we're not playing united. When we play against them I have the double incentive of, not only desperately wanting City to win, but desperately wanting united to lose. With Palace, if they win it, good luck to them, their fans get a great day out and a bit of history.

I bet pep will go with this he will go who he trusts I don't agree with this line up but think pep will go with it.. only reason he won't will be to prioritise Tuesday game..

Moments maybe not, but technically on paper we have momentum.

In our last 10 games we have won 7 and drew 3.

Our league form is only bettered by 1 point by Villa since the international break.

Palace on the other hand have only picked up 2 more points than Forest, who have 2 wins in 7 league games since the last international break.
Don’t feed the troll.

He should have prioritised the Saints game but he picked a wank line up.

I actually think pep picked the saints team on the basis that he wanted certain players ready to play twice in 4 days

Nunes
Oreilly
Gundo
Marmoush

You can add he's tried and tested to that
Dias
Gvardiol
Kovacic
Bernie

I make it a decision on 3 positions
Goalkeeper
Wide player ( left or right)
Center forward/ false 9.
It will be strong in both games I don't expect you will see Lewis or mcatee starting either game.

Funny as I keep.reading Palace fans saying 'why don't they give us some of City's tickets' and 'City won't sell out' etc etc, as though they are some super fan base.

Then I watch a clip BBC of us beating them at Palace in the cup a few years ago and place was half empty. Short memories some people

We really have created a rod for our pwn back with a lot of people leaving early before HT and FT and arriving late.. helped people pile on the false 'emptihad' claim..couple that with a fair few low Wembley sales..we get a false narrative. Annoying as it was our loyalty that was recognised during our blip years starting with big mal coming back then the yo 'yoing' really. We probably focus on that too much its created a false perception. Everyone now is brainwashed into thinking we were in third tier then money arrived..so wrong of course

I watched that on telescope, first half from a blues feed and the second from a Palace fans feed as we were attacking their end.

A bloke behind who was filming was moaning like fuck and I always remember him saying " Fucking Yaya Toure, if he scores this I'm off...GOAL...right that's it I'm off".

Don't think Chelsea or Villa will drop points but if they do bet that will change pep's mind on the team he puts out
