PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just seen Khaldoon chatting with the US President.

Said something about waiting for the PL to fill the hole in, that they dug ;-)

Would be hilarious if Trump publicly called the Premier League out for racism on the 115.

Or if he publicly called out the red cartel.

(yeah i know)

The EC dismissed the plea from Tebas because the legislation only applies to state-owned businesses and City are not state owned. We have never been state-owned. The latest PL accusations rely on proving that Sheikh Mansour has pumped his own money in. The Tebas EC story is just a PR stunt and part of an ongoing smear campaign against City. The BBC choose to wilfully ignore this aspect,

Did the EC say that?

The EC said there was a lack of cogent evidence in the Tebas submission which rather squashed Tebas claim: “We have all the figures.” As you say, he’s just a loud mouth venting his hatred of Muslims.

A pattern is emerging of an Arab owned football club being targeted by the establishment and being repeatedly found innocent.
That's what it looks like but I think the truth is it's the owners that want to invest in their clubs that are being targeted by the owners that want to use their clubs as a cash-cow.
They basically want to compete for CL qualification money without having to spend any.

More fool Abu Dhabi for bailing them out.....money is money but disrespect is disrespect and it was only ever going move that way.
It was Sheikh Mansour but the deal collapsed so....

Real Madrid primarily funded the Santiago Bernabéu stadium rebuild through a combination of loans and strategic partnerships. The club secured loans from banks like JP Morgan and Bank of America, initially totaling €575 million in 2019, and later adding a further €370 million in late 2023. They also partnered with companies like Legends and Sixth Street, who invested in the project and acquired rights to certain revenue streams.

Which, oddly, the left-wing leaning Guardian has never called him out on. But maybe not so odd as they seem to hate Muslim football club owners as well.
