Figure of speech. While the statistics show that Derby will technically be the worst in terms of points gained, there is no getting away from the point that this season’s Southampton are by far and away one of the worst teams the top flight has ever seen and arguably THE worst in terms of overall quality.

We’ve all watched City long enough to know that despite treble wins / 4 in a row / etc, no game is ever a “banker” and we are absolutely adept at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory... BUT that game last week was an absolute nailed-on must-win and 0-0 to them was, relatively speaking, a bit of a disaster.

On the other side, if they win , they are going into a possible winner takes all against Chelsea on the final game, which may be to our advantage.
Its really hard to know what results are best now so all we can do is make sure we get 4 points over our last 2 games.
