Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

We don't get champs league! We know the chat will be all about the past and players leaving Kdb and our youth teams winning the league!
lots of issues with ticket pricing he should address that.
after 4peat not winning the league is ok but drop off so much that we may miss out on top5 is sick. Villa, Forest, Chelsea, Barcodes all can finish plus-minus 2 points to us. thats our level now.
you can miss out on title like Arsenal last season. 89 points and live until last round. we didnt put up any fight this time. neither Arse haha.
CL extremely poor performance. nothing of a tie vs Real Madrid to exit very early before even last 16 round but those Feyenoord, Sporting, Juventus, PSG games pffff, basically we only beat the likes of Brugge, Slovan, Prague nobody stronger...
domestic cups poor overall, we had quite a good draw in FA cup with 3x lower league sides but we lose the final vs 12th side in PL.
youth players: Nico coming through and getting chances thats positive, maybe McAtee too but thats about it. some talents in EDS and U19 side, lets see.
the complete failure of a summer window. bit of a pannic window in January where 3 out of 4 players are not trusted.
the general lack of fitness in all the players is sick all season. losing duels all year, second balls too. not enough hunger, fight, power. he has to address these too. Pep looks tired as fuck and his tactics looks to be found out big time. now thats something he wont address haha.
lots of injuries, poor rehabilitation for some. coming back too soon, getting injured again etc.
poor transfers in generally.
thinking its ok to go into this one with Gundo and Savinho will be enough. backfired big time.

Girona faced reality this season, women team also went backwards imo, probably NYCFC too others I dont follow much I remember he mentioned Troyes and the bad performance there last time well well not much better this time deep down mid table in the Championship of French system.

Correct but doesn't us having all those other clubs get us better sponsors
I have no idea but City will have a huge global reach on their own, above all other clubs in CFG, maybe bar NYCFC. But if we take our eyes off the ball, and allow City to drift into mediocrity, then even that comes under threat.

Companies concentrate on their core business, and get rid of their non-core ones. City and New York are probably our core businesses.

Just be the usual fluff. Will talk about how much the fans are valued and how much the players and pep are hurting.

Will go on to mention that we will be proactive but smart in the market and we are keen to regain our crown. We have great structure at the club blah blah blah.

Finish off with more fluff about the fans and how great we all are.

The end

I don’t want heads on poles but there needs to be a serious review of how we aloud a once brilliant squad to decline so rapidly and failed to sign the requisite players to appropriately oversee a decent succession plan.

Have to agree. After the super league bullshit I will never trust this guy again.

Don’t know why people are so impressed by him tbh. It’s just meaningless pr. makes me cringe

The whole CFG thing is just shite. Everything should be focused on Coty, which is where the vast majority of the revenue and global recognition is.

Yep, the whole concept is bollocks. Just a management consultant's wet dream. An expensive one.

I suppose the only way it makes sense is if there are plans for a global entertainment business somehow on the back of a global football empire. But the empire looks more like the German empire before WW1 (small sausage factory in Tanganyika, for reference) rather than the British...

It's a good job Mansour has deep pockets.
