This is the only suggestion I can see that gives us numerical superiority in midfield. I just feel it'll be far too open for counters down the side of either wide centre backs. Not to mention Reijnders occupies a large amount of the advanced left area of the pitch, as does Wirtz, Marmoush and then Rodrygo. Could get messythis one only makes sense in my mind

I think if you go beyond scoring against us and dig deeper you can see why he is the one Madrid will let go.
He’s not had a season figures as good as Savino’s in La Liga and he plays for Real.
Whilst that does not tell the full story unless Madrid where selling for a reasonable price, I’d be reluctant and let someone else take the gamble at the price

From what I’ve read, Rodrygo wants to play on the left from now on. Thats more Marmoush than fodenIts Foden that loses out if we sign Rodrygo. Additionally, one of Savihno or Doku would probably have to leave.

Whenever I see us linked with Real Madrid players, the words pre-madonna come to mind and lack of work rate as well.

It's a nice attacking formation if Pep would risk it but with Marmoush behind with Wirtz, then Marmoush can make direct runs into the box, he interchanges with Foden and Rodrygo too which makes our attacks very unpredictable.
I'm not sure about the structure defensively whether Pep would want an extra man, but an attack like that would be mayhem from any defence and extremely hard to defend against, that's no matter who we'd be playing plus we'd also have the likes of Bobb coming on too.

Doku is incredibly quick over a couple of meters but not on longer runs, Savinio is far too happy to pass the ball rather than take on his FB.
We can do better than both for me especially if we want to compete.
