Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

Need more time than 3 months. Probably take 3 transfer windows min.
I agree this rebuild will take a while, what I don't accept or agree with is the way we play football, the results that way of playing brings, is the best this squad and manager can produce.

Accepting it will make it more bearable blue.

We will go again. Gotta get through this wobble.

How can we do a re build when we don't know what our style is? Pep has used 3 different formations in the last 2 games, are we going to be starting with 2 wingers so need a huge upgrade there?, two number 10s so need 2 worldclass creative players? , 2 up top so need a another striker as back up, What exactly are we looking for ??

They started to fix the issues , work in progress. Steadied the ship and kept us in the top 5
We have got lucky we got an extra space to qualify which was unknown in January. We are currently 6th and lost a cup final to an inferior side, again. We play one of them players bought in January. Forgive me for not seeing the progress yet

I don't know, I am realistic and don't expect us back next season. It doesn't make spending a fortune yesterday to watch us lose to a side 12th in the league any more bearable though. Even more so playing as poorly as we do. I don't doubt we won't get back there, I just struggle to accept this years levels.

They tried to fix the issue in January after realising the summer fuck up. That hasn't gone too well.

Possibly be helpful if the manager played some of them though eh? Gonzalez, Khusanov and Marmoush should all be playing regularly but while the manager has his favourites here, it’s currently been a waste of money and time.

Couldn't agree more, Khusanov thrown in at the deep end against Chelsea, trusted at Madrid away but we throw Akanji in at right back for a cup final? Make it make sense. Make any of it make sense

You don’t trust Khaldoon? Fucking hell
No I don’t. I won’t forget that super league fiasco and I don’t like how he has been silent in regards to the prices and season tickets as well as the protests.

He is there to make city profitable. That’s why he hired Soriano and co. He doesn’t care for the fans or the local community imo

I'm looking forward to the interview, warts and all.

I'm 100% sure Chris will ask Khaldoon some searching questions about Peps performance this season, the teams performance this season, a possible failure to get into the CL, the fan protests, ticket prices, filling 8000 extra seats next season, 115, the PRS win against Masters and the PR, etc.

It's going to be a blockbuster interview, isn't Khaldoon?

Or is it going to be another sugar coated and stage managed interview with the usual PR guff again?

He made a snap decision and admitted it was a mistake and apologized? Do you have a clean past or never made a mistake? And on City being profitable then of course that’s what he had to do! It’s a huge business with huge turnover but also huge investment and sustainability required for the purchasing of players, wages, administration and general running costs to manage and maintain? Were you pleased when we signed Haaland, Marmoush etc? And when we win the treble? If you want tickets for £10.00 maybe go and watch FC Maine Road and enjoy yourself! Our ticket prices on the whole are good value compared to other teams who haven’t witnessed what we have in the last 6 years but it requires investment and balancing for the FFP and now PSR rules? Most of the anger is down to imo that we have had such a shite season. Do they make errors? Of course they do but name a boss or a business that doesn’t?

Well said - definitely had good value over the last 10 years. No way I want to go back to the Maine Road days. I enjoy our global appeal & the enthusiasm of so called “tourists”

I would like Khaldoon to invite that BBC **** Roan to interview him. I think he'd rip him to shreds.

Not everything has been perfect mate but 90% off it has?? To say some don’t trust khaldoon is really poor imo.
