I have never heard an OSC member say WHY they think it’s fair?Fair enough, you didn’t go “all in” on OSC’s. I just don’t think it was part of the problem yesterday. I went with the OSC, got my ticket off my own points and cup scheme membership, everyone around me on the coach was a regular and majority season ticket holders. My point was also that it’s mutually beneficial for OSC’s to get final allocations as it’s not as easy to sell Wembley tickets as it was back in 2011, 2013, 2014. That should be taken into consideration as well.

Yeah I do think a bit of this would help, it doesn't have to be full on ultra stuff but a bit of organization and orchestration would help....I was in the 1894 block yesterday and really felt like it could do with a couple of lads who stand up facing the crowd who kind of lead the songs, and get everyone organised, a bit like they do in the concourse?Palace fans are great. Closest thing we have to ultras in this country.
Is there any reason why we can’t /wont do something similar even better than that. Can it be that difficult? Get everyone to wear a colour to stand out , bang a drum , jump up and down together.
or are we too posh/ shy/ apathetic/conservative to do that.

Everyone on our list had to qualify to get a ticket (and could only buy tickets when it reached their criteria).Question for 1894, were the club allowing anyone who requested a ticket in the 1894 section to buy a ticket in that section, or did they definitely sell just to people on the list? Or did loads of people who were on the list end up not buying in that section? I was on your list but allocated a ticket out of the section, rang up to change it (3 of us) to the 1894,section. Told the club I needed one for a lad (regular ST holder) who hadn’t got on the 1894 list and they offered me one in the row behind which was also in the 1894 section, which suggests the club were offering your tickets to people not in your list. And this was in day one or day two of the sales

We ended up with 500.
Unfortunately, a fair few jumped the gun and got tickets through their OSCs (in other areas), which meant some seats were released. Probably ended up with around 350-400 in there (which is still a good number IMO). It just wasn’t our day, despite our best attempts.

I didn’t say I thought it was fair. I said one way or another they shift tickets and probably organise hundreds of coach loads to get to Wembley, so it’s beneficial to the club as it helps to sell the ticket allocation, the semi final being a prime example. Take your complaints to one of the City Matters reps if it bothers you that much. Ask the question. However I didn't sign up to sit in a section specifically labelled as being there to create an atmosphere or call my block the singing section, curious as to why anyone else would pick to sit in that section and then stand there arms folded in silence, and for what's its worth understanding how to make it better won't happen if every piece of critism is met with " well what did you do"What did you contribute yesterday? There were tons of people trying their best in our section yesterday. There’s only so much you can get going when no other fucker joins in!
Completely agree it wasn’t the same after standing Kippax came down. I smoked at the time so that never bothered me. I packed up years ago but being around smokers still doesn’t bother me either.As another old boomer fart I'm nearly 69 I have to take issue with you over the Màine Rd atmosphere. It could be absolutely fantastic , Charlton promotion, Borough semi, most games against the rags or dippers. I can also remember games in the old first division against Wimbledon and Oxford with well under 20k on and the place like a morgue. Far prefer Maine Rd to the Etihad but it was not always the Bear pit it's made out to be. I absolutely loved the place the atmosphere, the pubs the smell of fag's and piss but the atmosphere could be hit and miss. It was never the same after the Kippax was demolished though

I can take criticism if it’s well intentioned, but you’ve come on here to have a go at people who’re atleast trying things. You didn’t give any constructive advice, you are just shitting on what we tried to achieve.
If people like yourselves shoot down any and every attempt to do something positive, where does that lead?
If you’d have said ‘how could we make the singing sections louder?’ Then I’d engage and have a proper conversation. But you’re not interested in that. You’d rather point fingers and write it off as a failure, rather than try to learn from it and improve going forward.

I think they’re cringy as fuck, but that’s just me. I really can’t be doing with the whole European style orchestrated, one bellend with no shirt on telling every one what and when to sing, and some other whopper banging a fucking drum.
