Just like we did at Maine Rd and against the same opposition.Wheeled out hoards of ex-players, so I figure some supporters will miss out through lack of seats.

I'm assuming they'll only open the stand with the players' tunnel on matchdays. They are going to cut the capacity to just over 3,000 it'll be like dragging a kitbag down the M1.
How do you cut the capacity from 50,000 to 3,000 it's hilarious :)

It's a fantastic gesture by the club. I doff my cap to them. I'm just not sure how practical or sensible it is.There will be more officials than fans, the echo will be astounding.

Yawning his head off when they showed him. What the fuck is the City legend Joe Royle doing there?
The stand capacities are:
If they retain just the Goodison Road stand they will have far more than a 3,000 capacity.
- Goodison Road - 12,664
- Bullens Road - 10,546
- Park End - 5,750
- Gwladys Street - 10,612
And the game hadn't even started. Is Hinchcliffe there?Yawning his head off when they showed him.
LOLIt shows how bad our recruitment has been when Everton have a full back approaching his 40th birthday who is better than anything we have in that department.

Good atmosphere there today. People in a great mood."good to see the fans respecting the occasion and staying off the pitch" commentator doesn't mention the 2000 strong army of perimeter security guards plus the entire Merseyside police force all there to stop them lol.
Very emotional, but good and enjoyable as well. A nice way to see us out. I will miss the place, but we needed to move. I have many great memories of the place, football, family and friends. Nice to know I can go along and see the ladies play there as well now.Good send off today Evertonians - a big loss to the game another great ground going away.
I've had some tremendous (and some semi-terrible) days out there..............
Point well made and taken.Good atmosphere there today. People in a great mood.
