Half an hour debut v a tiring Southampton would have been more logical to me.
The Treble winners smashed Bayern, Arsenal and Real by 3-4 goals playing the best football England has seen.
You are being (deliberately) obtuse.
Last few seasons?Lol, the football of the last few seasons has been dull as dishwater, people just weren't complaining as we were picking up trophies along the way, if we are being honest watching us pass the ball around for the sake of it for 90 minutes isn't entertaining to most football fans whatsoever.
This lad looked amazing throughout the last tournament yet could barely get a training session with our squad, its typical of Pep when you see who he has overlooked though, we have a fantastic academy yet he has no trust in utilising the players, other Clubs would have had to in our situation. And yes there are a number of players who have had literally had their directness coached out of them, Grealish at Villa was a different animal, Foden used to get hooked everytime he misplaced a few risky balls etc.
Last few seasons?
The football this season has been dull because at times we have had to play conservatively to avoid teams breaking on us. The concerning aspect at Wembley was that we set up with a very attacking formation with two wingers but in the 2nd half especially we struggled to break them down.
Your comment does not correspond at all to the football I have watched Pep Guardiola teams play. Tomorrow we say goodbye to one of the greatest players in Premier League history. You wouldn't know that reading your comment. I doubt the reason for Foden's poor form has got anything to do with Pep's coaching.
Like to see him play Tues see what he’s capable of rather that the 10 mins on Saturday
I’d like Pep to be brave but fear he will return to type……I would start with him behind Haaland….KDB will be knackered after Saturday and Foden is so out of sorts that he won’t get his form back plus Pep is not giving Grealish a start, for whatever reason.be nice to see him get a real opportunity tomorrow night. We may as well go for it
Yup we will see the usual offense. Consistent of Foden Bernardo and KDBProbably more chance of seeing Steven Van Zandt doing a guitar solo on the centre spot.
Hopefully Pep will give him a run out bit I think Pep will go conservative again in a must not lose match
Bet the next time he plays for City will be CWC unless he's loaned to Girona before then.Chances we don’t see him again for a minute
He wont be sold. I'f be more surprised if he didn't play in the final 2 games.I wouldn't be at all surprised if this lad was sold to make a quick profit in the summer window.
He looked lively yesterday, but nothing 'special'. TBH, I just can't see him breaking through or playing any different role than Alvarez did.
This os crazy work!At least he looks like he isn't a fanny. You can tell. He's got that type of head.
Savinho is a bit of a fanny, you can just tell.
He wont be sold. I'f be more surprised if he didn't play in the final 2 games.
The front running suggests he must have been balling out in training.
:(As I said, I really wouldn't be surprised if he was sold. We've done dafter things.
Allegedly he is sick, but I don't know the source of this information. If he isn't sick, it is baffling indeed.Looked energetic and hungry on Saturday, not even in the squad tonight, baffling
He isn't registered for the League. We could only register 3 players in the January transfer window and that was Khusanov, Marmoush and Gonzalez.Allegedly he is sick, but I don't know the source of this information. If he isn't sick, it is baffling indeed.
