Because the rules don't apply to them.

Plus the media insist on drip feeding the general public that the rags are one of the biggest clubs in the world so people just assume they can afford such things.

It's rather clever when you think about it.

One Billion pounds in debt, mass redundancies, summer targets, players wanting to join them. It's PR at It's finest.

Cosmetic improvements equals down to B and Q for some rat poison and sealant for the roof. They could also get a couple of throwaway BBQ’s while they are there.

If they do win and get in the champions league what will happen differently for them next season? Last time they were in it they got humiliated by Danish no hopers and a Turkish team. They won’t be able to compete every few days in the PL and champions league because of how bad their squad is, they’ve only just been able to manage to scrape through to the Europa league final playing against teams with ten men.

They won’t have the fall back of the Europa league if their domestic season goes to pot. So how will a team that has 9 points since New Year’s Day suddenly find another 30 plus to get them in contention for the top four next year?

Plus if they do..........cashemiros clause in his contract will mean he becomes the highest paid player in premier league history........regardless they are fucked financially either way
