i've noticed it a few times during the game but the runs that he makes are very unintelligent. for instance, there was a counter with KDB, him and marmoush with him on the right and marmoush on the left, and instead of dragging the defender to the right to give marmoush the space, he made a diagonal run, dragging huijsen with him. marmoush was almost free on the left if the defender wasn't tracking haaland.
 
Poor!

Pep should of kept him sidelined and not risked any further injury for the remaining games.

He needs a good pre season. He needs to regain his hunger. Right now he’s miles off.
 
Disinterested for the most part. His movement isn’t as it was or as it needs to be. Possibly because we don’t play the balls but he doesn’t run across the line anymore, he holds his position and is flat footed when the ball arrives. He's stopped bullying defenders when 1 on 1 too.

Hopefully as the collective improves he will do the same. Regardless, he needs to get some confidence and consistency back.

Too much sulking and throwing his arms around tonight, we looked more of a threat when he went off.

Mind you, if I’d signed a 9 year contract on silly money I wouldn’t give a fuck either.

I'm confused watching him.

Hopefully we just get champions league, rebuild the squad, and figure out how to make Haaland work for us again.

Currently, its a bit shit.
 
I thought he was better tonight. More involved with hold up play and was unlucky ona couple of occasions not get away from their 2 cbs who were glued to him for the most part. Him being there occupied 2 very good center backs and gave marmoush more room.

needs goals but I thought he looked way more interested.
 
Yea doesn't look right at all. Hopefully just fitness. I wouldn't be too hard on the lad just get over the line next week and regroup for next season
 
His confidence is shot ti pieces atm and I don’t know why but there is somthing amiss with him just hope he bags a goal and then it starts again and we need to start building round him if we let him go .
 
He needs to find his rhythm, but I hope we don’t expect him to find it this summer. He’s played too much football this season and deserves a rest.
 
Wish he'd carry on once he lays the ball off. Too often the ball comes into his feet, he'll give a good pass (a few nice ones last night out wide) and then amble about rather than busting a bollock to get on the end of a return pass.

There was one where he gave it to Kev and then stood about 10 yards offside and walked back - it's like he's sulking about the fact that crosses are our main way of looking for him. But he needs to realise he's a massive, strong number 9 with a huge leap on him. Not every goal is going to be pretty and from a run/pass in behind a defence.

Frustratingly, I do think he's really good on the ball (once he gets it under control) because his passing is direct, deliberate and usually finds its man (Gvardiol/Marmoush/Kev a few times last night) but Pep seems to refuse to build the team around him aside from a game or two a season when it works a treat then we stop.

Hopefully next season there's a revival of hunger for him - and the rest of the squad - and we see him at his best. Because we've seen him arguably at his worst this season and he's still bagged loads!
 
Bit flat in the first half but much better in the second.

Wonder if he's still playing with a degree of ankle pain.
