He's the man I'd look to when the chips were down and we were looking beat or devoid of ideas, it's like something would switch inside him and he would personally take it upon himself to make sure we won, be it a threaded ball though the eye of a needle no person on earth apart from Kevin had seen, a long distance drive nestling in the top bins or just generally driving the team forward in a positive way - it was always Kevin. I'm going to miss that and I doubt we'll see thr likes of him again. A treasure. Our Legend.

Just a bit of a shame he ran out of legs this year when everything else fell apart around him and highlight/exacerbatedhis vulnerabilities. If he was in the 18/19 team at this age, he'd have still been very, very, very good.

An absolute blessing he played for this club and what a servant he has been to both ourselves and the Premier League.

He literally is the closest thing to Roy of the Rovers I've ever seen. The equaliser at the Bernabeu in the treble year, goals at home and away against Arsenal in the title race, scoring at Utd and Stamford Bridge, the 4 goals at Wolves during a title run in etc etc. As we saw tonight he doesn't really do tap ins. Usually a 25 yard screamer into the top bin too.

So many memories of an iconic player it's hard not to get really cut up about it. Dont be a stranger Kev. Xx

He's given us so many great moments, so many great memories ..... it's been an absolute pleasure to have watched him play, the guy is class .... he now moves on to the next, and final chapter of his playing career with the best wishes and gratitude of everyone at City ..... but all good things eventually come to an end, and we all knew this parting of the ways was gonna happen one day.

His departure will leave a huge void within the club, such has been his immense popularity, but the fact that he had the admiration and respect not only of City fans, but also of so many rival supporters and players everywhere, just says everything about the guy.

Fucking horrible isn't it?!! Like a grieving process. Basically you grow old with them. Quarter of my life I've spent watching him and seeing more of him than a lot of my own family.

The way his voice keeps croaking during his interviews keeps getting to me. What an absolute gentleman. Never any issues over the past 10 years and what an example he's set for everybody else at the club.

Unbelievable talent, but still built on a foundation of hard work and a hatred of losing. He still puts the others to shame with his pressing of the opponents and think that's why he's often blowing 60-70 minutes in. Pity the others didn't help him out and do more of this (something any **** can do) and let him focus on his USP of being the influential match winner that he's so often been over the years.
