Fantastic night! You at the stadium did a great job on saluting the King, you made the atmosphere so great it almost felt as though you where there through the tv.

Great to see all the legends salute him aswell. It did come tears when Sergio, Kompany and all the other legends saluted him.
Sad time to see him go but it is the right time aswell

Salute to everyone that made this night one to remember.

Kev changed the game forever at Cardiff City with that free kick, don't think I remember teams having a player laying down behind the wall before that game, you never see one now without it.

Surprised there was no David Silva on the video tributes, I kept waiting for him to pop up, but nothing. Doesn't mean anything, just an observation. I feel like he was probably the only player missing apart from maybe Kolarov, Clichy, G.Jesus.

Made a similar point to my lot last night but about Haaland. taking nothing away from Erling as a striker, but I'm sure there was a stat from his first or second season that showed how many assists Kev had for Haaland goals. Also wonder if/how Haaland's figures will fare going forward.

To be honest there was always going to be a drop off in Haaland's goals from the first season. Sides have pretty much nullified Haaland's threat by sitting deep whereas they didn't have that respect for his pace when he first joined. Currently games aren't an enjoyable watch, but it's effective for the opposition. Erling's strengths aren't close control and intricate passes in and around the 18 yard box and for his size he isn't great in the air so he's often a passenger in games now.

As you allude to though, KDB leaving will be very concerning for himself. He's still our most creative player by a distance despite his age. There's nobody else that takes accountability and backs themselves to thread a ball through as they're too concerned about losing possession. I'm genuinely concerned about next season. I was relatively relaxed about it last year as Foden's form in KDB'S absence gave the impression he was going to be a natural successor. This season Foden is a shadow of his former self and his form has dropped off a cliff.

Thought the same but on reflection he's very shy and private person

It's always the iPhones with Kev, pretty sure he's done that before.

Edit - yep, after the treble.

Thankfully his imagination was on the pitch where it mattered :)

Imagine what a fan would have thought being given that phone as a gesture though?

He played well for 20 minutes.

£400k a week or even a reduced contract of £200k (he wouldn’t accept any less) just isn’t worth it.

If City offered £100k which is probably more than he’s worth he’d rightly think it was an insult.

He should go to MLS or Saudi for a last big pay check for his family.
I don't know how you got the 20mins figure at all. He was great last night, behind Marmoush and Silva, I'd say he was 3rd best player. But the people say Silva is past it too
