They've said on Sky Sports that Adidas have hit them with a £10m penalty for failing to qualify for the Champions League in two consecutive seasons.

Be yet another rule change at Premier League headquarters before that's allowed to happen.
 
Love it! I've only just found out, had a hell of a last couple of days so that's really made my day. I totally forgot about the Europa League since I never watch it anyway, I bet that was a really enthralling match to watch but who cares. Absolutely hilarious.

It would have been an absolute travesty if they had qualified next season, especially considering our position.

Only slight concern is the City fans who wanted us to jump in and get Amorim ahead of the rags when there was speculation of Pep leaving.
 
Listening to talksport earlier, the 2 Utd supporting hosts bleating on about the reasons they’re in this position.. apparently there’s only been one constant throughout the last 12 years of dross and that’s the Glazers (God love em) and it’s all their fault

Actually, there is one other constant.. their deluded fanbase. Who coronate every new signing as the next Duncan Edwards, who sat and listened to Slur Alex tell them the next guy needed time and then hounded him out within 9 months, who pin hugely unrealistic hope to any youngster who comes through the academy because that’s ‘the United way’ TM and then hound them out, who buy green and gold scarves on their lemming way into the Megastore to funnel more money into the Glazers pockets, who have chosen to ignore course and distance winners like Mourinho who tried to tell them how it is. They live in a 1999 wonderland where the referee blows when he’s told and Giggsy is a loving, family man.
