Tino Livramento

I would think it's unlikely unless they miss out on top 5.

Howe was saying this week re: incoming transfers that in the past couple of years they have been hampered by PSR but won't have the same problem this year so doesn't sound like they need the money and tripper must be on his way out one way or another very soon.

They've just won a trophy and will qualify for the Champions League this weekend. As things currently stand, Newcastle are in a better position than us to progress further. Why would he jump ship now?
wow, 1 trophyless season, where we still could finish third and all of a sudden newcastle are in a better position than us, unbelievable how quickly people forget

Things should change over the summer but right now, with no incomings or outgoings, Newcastle have the stronger squad and a better chance of finishing in the top four again next season.

what utter rubbish, they prob have a slightly better midfield although that changes with rodri coming back, isaak and haaland are about equal in goals but diff players, and they have 1 better full back and we have a much better manager as well

City have been without Rodri all season and are still above Newcastle in the league after the club's worst season in years.

I don’t believe that’s even close to being true. If they’d had the injuries we’ve had this season they’d be nowhere near the top four. And we know this because last season they did have a similar injury situation and ended up nowhere near the top four

He cost them around 40m and they have no appetite to sell.

From speaking to their fans, I believe they have no PSR issues and will be looking to take advantage of those with PSR issues.

As for wanting to play for Pep or City. He probably knows that Peps time is nearly done whilst Eddie Howe and Newcastle are just getting going. Thinking otherwise is hubris on our part.

Of course silly money can turn anybodys head. You'd think they would probably let him go for upwards of 75m ? but is he worth that ?

Eddie Howe isn't an elite enough coach that he is guaranteed a long stay anywhere. If they have a poor start to next season he could be on the chopping block. Newcastle doesn't offer more stability.

One carabao cup and us potentially finishing 3rd in our worst season for a decade (with a stupid amount of injuries) has really got alot of people gassing newcastle up hasnt it.

This stinks of the classic trying to sign him for 4 months and then we get to the end of the window and walk away from the deal due to spiralling costs with City confirming they are happy with their current options.

I thought Pep had said that 25/26 would be his last season at City?

Would love to be wrong on that, but i doubt Eddie Howe is going anywhere but, possibly, the England job or maybe to City himself.

Pep did an interview recently with Sky where he didn't rule out extending again. I think we need to see how we are playing next season to get a sense on where Pep stands.

Nope, just said this job will be his last whenever that is. (and its 26/27)
