Tino Livramento

Good player but he’s made of glass, really poor injury record. Ridiculous price even if he was an ever present
Grealish’s book value to us is still about £40m?
With Grealish's wages and the fact everyone knows he's finished here, I think we'd snap anyone's hand off if they offered us £25m.

That's what Newcastle nearly paid for him! He is a 70m player because, for his age, he is homegrown, and he is versatile; he can play left and right back. Plus, you get ten years out of him! He is perfect for us! We also paid 50m for Walker and got our moneys worth...

I know you'll still come back with "it's still to much" just because there are a lot of fans similar who want everyone for next to nought..
Yeah Walker was overpriced. And he is the best defensive RB in prem history.

Look, don't take me 2 seriously on this, I just don't rate fullback as a position. Its the easiest position to play, and some pf the very best didn't start as one

50 - 55 Mil should be the ceiling for fullbacks in my humble opinion.

He’s got glass legs. Walker was a freak in terms of fitness and availability until he became an old man
People on here advocating giving our sicknotes away for bobbins, while paying top dollar for other teams’ hypochondriacs

Newcastle have any PSR problems?
A few of their journos have said going into the summer that they're clear of PSR worries. I doubt they need to sell but also couldn't hurt to add whatever this fee would be on top of their PSR budget.

It’s not easy to play in the modern game and certainly not in Pep’s system. Some of the worlds best players were fullbacks Maldini, Cafu, Lahm, Sagnol, Cole, Thurman, it’s no easier than any other position to do properly.

Ah right so how many injuries has he had at Newcastle

Ok defensively but shite going forward.. We need a RB that can provide the width and cross so players like Phil aren't wasted hugging the touchline to play passenger in Peps sideways possession system.

Absolutely zero chance this happens. Newcastle won’t want to sell one of their star players to, what they view as, a rival in the league. Same way we wouldn’t have look to sell Kompany in 2010 had Chelsea come knocking.

Disagree about fullbacks - but I will say it's possibly the only position on the pitch where you can get away with mediocrity. That said, it almost provides the biggest differential between teams too, because quality players there, carrying out the job required and more, makes a decent team good and a good team great.

I like him, very good defender, unsure offensively how good he is, he doesnt seem to be used in that way aa much.

I have big doubts Newcastle would let him go.

only possbile if Newcastle fumbles the CL place this week. then they have to sell a big name player or Livramento. otherwise they need to keep evryone and add some depth to their squad as CL schedule will give them a proper test and somehow Villa's squad is imo much deeper than the likes of Krafth, Wilson, Miley, Lascelles etc.

He's always struck me as being a fantastic athlete, pretty quick and can run all day. I wouldn't say that he's anything special on the ball though. If we are just looking for a home grown like for like replacement for Walker he's about as close as you'll currently get at RB.

Maybe we should offer £500m. After all, the actual value of a player doesn't seem to matter to so many of the flappers on here.
