Probably not as he plays for Forest.Completely agree I don't think Newcastle are at all likely to sell us MGW.

Forest won't sell us MGW. Similar with Livarmento and Newcastle. We are rivals according to their owners.Completely agree I don't think Newcastle are at all likely to sell us MGW.
HahahaProbably not as he plays for Forest.
I don't see it that way. I think the differential you see is because full backs are often the worst players on most teams. So a very good one ,(who often didn't start as a full back in his career) looks exponentially better.Disagree about fullbacks - but I will say it's possibly the only position on the pitch where you can get away with mediocrity. That said, it almost provides the biggest differential between teams too, because quality players there, carrying out the job required and more, makes a decent team good and a good team great.

If you yake 2 average teams and give one the best left back in the world and give the other team the best Center back in the world. I think on average the team that got the best Center back in the world will improve more.
You can go down the line from Keeper to striker and at every position, the team is better with the best at every other position than they are with the best fullback.
I mean, that's a hypothetical and we could never prove it as fact, but i think most will intuitively agree with it.
Fullback is the easiest position to hide weakness. If you are to choose a starting position to NOT have a WC player in, fullback would be 1st choice every time..
One major injury three years ago, been fine since.Would we be only going for him because he’s homegrown? He’s had injury issues just feels weird that Pep wants players that can be available and then we sign a right back that’s got injury issues

What because he’s a brilliant fullback?Meh.
Not a Pep player imo.
Which was my point.Probably not as he plays for Forest.
We might end up not buying anyone because there isn’t any pep player fullback out thereWhat because he’s a brilliant fullback?
Depends on your tactics. If you want your fullbacks to be offensive I.e Liverpool under Klopp they need to be top class. Look at Dumfries for inter. He their worst player? Arsenal invincible had great fullbacks. Why is it an easy position to play? You have to be switched on to offense and defensive side of the game. A CB doesn’t do a lot offensively bar set pieces.I don't see it that way. I think the differential you see is because full backs are often the worst players on most teams. If the present football climate is of fullbacks that are that, full backs that can defend and play wing backoccasionally then Pep sadly has to adapt and live with it.We might end up not buying anyone because there isn’t any pep player fullback out there
Players and managers at the top level adapt all the time. If we are looking at him we are confident he’ll do a job hereMeh.
Not a Pep player imo.
