So last week, the FA told us no Red as the ball was going wide of the goal (only as the goalkeeper flicked the ball in that direction from outside his box).

This week, an attacking player kicks it wide of the goal before the infringement from Martinez but that doesnt apply now apparently as its the rags so its a red card. YCMIU

Then they come up with a decision to disallow Rogers goal for something that didnt happen in reality…!! Bent as a nine bob note!!

If we listened to some people on this thread the others "deserved" it more, and we didn't "deserve" it.

You know, the other 4 teams - of which 3 of them have just lost when the pressure was on. Two of them to the 13th and 15th placed teams.

People can take their "deserve" mantra and get absolutely fucked.

We deserve Champions League - you can pick any metric by which to measure who the best 5 teams in the country are, and we deserve it. It's not even really close.

Champions league secure and our top targets can now be pursued.

We mightn't dominate like we have done but there's a very exciting changing of the guard en route.
 
We was always getting top five,

Think Emery at Villa fancies winning the Europa league next season easier winning that than getting top 4 next season too!

You would think having an extra team in CL would help earn even more co efficient points but Spurs won't be able to farm wins in the CL like they did against Europa League fodder so maybe not.

Haha, yes thankfully the last we'll hear from the bedwetters going on about how not beating "the worst Premier League team of all time" cost us CL.

Comfortable in the end, and looking at how Newcastle/Villa/Forest did today, it just goes to show the pressure on these games for all clubs involved. But when it mattered, we saw it through.

I think it will be. not because English sides again gonna do well like English side in Conference final and all English final in EL, but because other nations rarely put together very decent runs across more teams.

look at Spain, also got an extra CL place, and they are quite far from English coeff. average this season but still safe distance from Italy, Germany etc.

if we just repeat what Spain did we are ok for an extra CL place.
and thats:
Barca CL semis exit
Real CL QF exit
Atletico CL 1/16 exit
Girona didnt even get out of the league round of CL
Sociedad 1/16 exit in EL vs shit rags
Bilbao EL semis exit vs shit rags
Betis reached Conference final

this is not particularly great run overall still worth extra CL place.

PL still get is this season even if Chelsea exits in QF of Conference and same for rags and Spurs in EL.
