Lower ceiling? And older? He is 24. Still a baby.
Savio the jury is still out, but for me Doku will never ever reach those statistics regularly.
He hasn't got the brain and instinct in the final third to get those numbers
Rodrygo has had near 25 goal contributions in a year where he has been average not a regular and prior to that he has had 2 near consecutive 30 goal contributions in previous years.
He walks into every team in this league.
Doku has the potential to be outstanding. He showed it in the first 6 months prior to his injury when he first came. Rodrygo is good, but is he truly more consistent than Doku and Savinho currently? Madrid wouldn’t want to get rid of him if they thought he was good enough. I simply think we are looking at a player who is surplus to requirement at a top level club.
