Rodrygo has had near 25 goal contributions in a year where he has been average not a regular and prior to that he has had 2 near consecutive 30 goal contributions in previous years.

He walks into every team in this league.

Doku has the potential to be outstanding. He showed it in the first 6 months prior to his injury when he first came. Rodrygo is good, but is he truly more consistent than Doku and Savinho currently? Madrid wouldn’t want to get rid of him if they thought he was good enough. I simply think we are looking at a player who is surplus to requirement at a top level club.

Fair comment but Doku ain’t getting any better than he is. His decision making is poor and is no different in the two years he’s been with us. Doesn’t win enough 50/50 balls for me either

Doku is frustrating currently and he isn’t at the level expected for us. Salah at the same age flopped at Chelsea, then was mediocre at Fiorentina. I do feel we expect players to have Lamine Yamal trajectories of instant successes and don’t allow them to grow. I think he has another season to prove his ability.

We simply don’t have the quality in the squad to give him the time. We need our wingers to be chipping in goals like Mahrez and Sterling

What does Doku definitely have?
He can beat people for fun.
The problem being what happens next. Seems to me that’s what needs addressing. Seems to me he needs support to arrive just as he does that. Good movement around him.

Why do you say Doku ain't getting any better? He already has the best take-on stats of any footballer per minute played.

We don't play him all the time because we don't have a solid midfield unit that can protect us against inevitable counter-attacks when you play high risk football.

Can’t wait for rodrygo to come from Madrid to play RW again the Same position he doesn’t wanna play while our other 70-80M signing is also another LW
