As with the coach attack, they will shield the blame, close ranks, and protect themselves. They are the most incompetent police force in the UK.
The word you’re looking for is corrupt.

If the roads weren’t closed off, who is that down to?
Surely the Merseyside Constabulary are above reproach.
What makes someone wakes up and thinks I’m going to drive through a parade with total disregard for human life’s,
Lots of underground car parks & off street parking bays in that area. Like most cities. If the roads weren’t closed off, who is that down to?

It might be a manpower issue . It was a very long route so shutting down the streets in the city centre for an extended period might not have been possible . Our route is very short by comparison so traffic more easily controlled. If the roads weren’t closed off, who is that down to?

Yes known as the corporal killingsRoyal Signals if memory serves me correct.
When I saw one of the videos of what I understood to be the start that was my reaction. Then I thought did he panic when they all gathered round the car shouting. What if it was a car already parked in a closed off road ?
I’ve been on many shut off marathon and half marathons and seen cars get stuck and moving along our route. Its very hard to organise and police every single aspect of long mile stretches.
You are joking…. How pathetic of the BBC. Plus the Education Secretary for not telling them to get lost. Why are the BBC currently interviewing the Education Secretary about it? Why ask her what teachers can say to their pupils today in school about it? Why does the Education Secretary not realise that its half term in every state school in the country this week? The mind boggles

That said I have no idea what that car was doing there and it might well be the roads were closed off and the driver had parked close to there hours before . In my head I'm imagining this happening somewhere like John Dalton or Peter Street , just after the parade has gone past on Deansgate . Horrendous .
But a suggestion that it was just a horrible set of circumstances culminating in a bloke being shit scared of the best fans in the world, wouldn’t allow for the necessary mawkishness, which will be all too evident this week, sadly. What makes you think that's what he did? There is nothing to suggest it was planned, quite the opposite.
Royal Signals if memory serves me correct.
Not sure if it's a step up or down from Geordies punching horses.Who the fuck punches a car! Absolute bellends.

Read the news, there were fault on both sides. BUT IN NO WAY JUSTIFIES RUNNING PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY KIDS DOWN! And your concern was who punches a car???!!! Who drives people down??!!! Get your priorities straight bud.Who the fuck punches a car! Absolute bellends.
There's two dickheads in particular who need pulling in for their role in escalating this situation. That said, the other cars ahead of this one didn't seem to be getting any grief, so god knows what's gone on beforehand.Who the fuck punches a car! Absolute bellends.
I'm more concerned that the education secretary doesn't realise that its half term everywhere in the uk. Thats her job! They aren’t. Everyday the government sends out a minister on the media rounds, this morning the education secretary is talking about apprenticeships. It is natural, and happens every single day, that the interviewer also asks the minister to comment on other major stories of the day.
